Welcome to Sim Racers 4 Life Fun Events.
This special event we will drive the Boxmaster in the very classic Targa-Florio. 72km of infinite curves, hillclimbs, town streets and an endless straight.
The event will be a time attack. It will consist of a private qualifying session where drivers will only have a single oportunity to do a lap in this track. The driver to do the quickest laptime in the Boxmaster will be the winner.

If we can do nothing about the "cutting track-lap not count" bug that happens around at the middle of the course, just drive without using the borders of the track between minute 20-25 and minute 30-35, depending on your speed, during your lap.

We did not have that bug when we ran this track last time? The only place where we could loose our lap was if we touched the pit line, iirc.

Procedure question:
Before running the quali lap, must drivers come to a complete stop at the start line, or is a it a running start?

The cutting track bug is still there and its random , ive completed about 6 laps and ive lost 2 due to it , replaying the video i was in the middle of the track at the place it says ive cut , so there is no guarantee you will have a clean lap no matter how carefull you drive

I just noticed there are 2 cops there , they must have a speed gun :Smile

Just have to wait for Paul to get round to turning off flag rules.

It was funny me getting stuck blocking a bridge yesterday in race with everyone unable to get passed me, oops sorry Big Grin.

At Paul, I never tried this but there are server settings

"Collision Fade Thresh":0.7,
"Collision Fade Thresh#":"Collision impacts are reduced to zero at this latency",

Maybe setting this to a very very low number it might turn off collision between cars.

Yes, I noticed the server too, it's from when the match-maker went down 2 days ago. Just needs Paul to restart it. Only problem no one seen Paul in a while now, missing in action Big Grin.

We must not forget to set the no flag rules, track is still giving "cut warning, lap will not count"
