Sorry Paul and Tim for the extra work of having different server configurations and point scoring. If everything seems correct I will post it too at rFactor2 official forum. RE: SR4L Official Autumn league announcement + Racing Calendar - gorgias1976 - 08-09-2017 Also please post all posible links you have from the cars and tracks (can't do it here at work). RE: SR4L Official Autumn league announcement + Racing Calendar - gorgias1976 - 08-09-2017 Thanks Mauro for the links. I think it will be difficult to add mechanical failures, at least not without a big debate. RE: SR4L Official Autumn league announcement + Racing Calendar - dan bayford - 09-09-2017 Thanks all of you its looks like we have a great season coming up your work is much appreciated RE: SR4L Official Autumn league announcement + Racing Calendar - Paul Swire - 09-09-2017 gorgias1976 Wrote:Thanks Mauro for the links. I think we could try it for one of the seasons. Perhaps have it on for the modern season and off for the classic, as classic cars breakdown more often

As you like Paul, People should drive flappy paddles on the Flat 6 Porsche, that should prevent people from braking theair gearboxes. set it on the server for a try. My main fear comes from posible random failures. RE: SR4L Official Autumn league announcement + Racing Calendar - argl - 09-09-2017 Is it just me or is the Road America 2016 version quite the frame rate killer? I cannot get rid of it even with lowest detail. I know it was voted for on the poll, but the 917 may be too fast for this narrow track, plus the haybales always end many guys' race early. Also, the track poll was not specific as to the cars to be used. Why don't we run the same Spa track used for the Flat 6? It is interesting to see how the 917 fares on a modern track. We could make a poll on it, but I think most people voted it considering the classic Belgium for the 917. The classic Belgium would be quite boring and bumpy for the Flat 6 considering its lower top speed and high grip, that's why I was considering racing modern versions of some tracks for the flat 6, more suitable to the characteristics of the car. The prospect of reaching vmax in a 917 and the challenge of masta makes this track one of the highlights of the classic league season for me. Don't forget this configuration was used in the 1970 World Sportscar Championship and this car won the race. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1970_1000km_of_Spa-Francorchamps |
