Sim Racers 4 Life are proud to announce the 1960's F1 League. Seems a long time ago when we first fired up the F3's, since then we've come a long way. Not just as online racers but as a strong community with helpful friendly members. Last seasons F2 League was a huge success for us, the level of racing was outstanding, we attracted new members and had a lot of fun doing so. Every active member can be proud that we now have a member base of around 200.
This seasons will be no walk in the park, it's a tough mod and will require practice if you want results.
The SR4L Team would like to wish all participants good luck for the upcoming event.

Please keep your car information up to date on the league site if your constantly changing race by race. This saves admin time uploading xml's for results.

Points System
Points down to 20th place.

Pole position; 1 point
Finishing 100%; 2 points
Minimum one pit stop required with a tyre change. Drivers not electing to stop and/or change tyres will be disqualified from the event.

Sunday's
P1 17:25 120 minutes
Q1 19:25 30 minutes
Warm up 7 minutes
R1 30 minutes
Warm up 7 minutes
R2 (Reverse grid order) 30 minutes.
Laps to be calculated for each race to approximately 30 minutes in length.

Teams and how to set one up.
Once the Teams are announced the team leader should get in contact with his new team mate and work out a name and Manager. The manager will start the following process:
Go the League Site
Teams/Manage
Add
Add your Team name e.g. Marcel Stoppers
Choose the season, SR4L F1 1960's League
Save
Scroll down and Invite yourself and your Team Mate from the list.
Once your invitation is accepted you should see both your names in your team list.
Note* Teams will be announced, it's impossible to get it 100% perfect but this concept is all about bringing both ends of the field together with the idea of keeping every one interest for the entire season.
Special Features
*Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Drivers Championship.
*Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed Teams Championship.
*Ranked Team system. Drivers ranked in pairs.
*Mid Season Special Event is an 80 minute Endurance race at Nordschleife for double points. Finishing bonus to be announced.
We wish you all the best for the season, it's going to be a tough one. Keep up the great standard that we've set over the last 2 seasons and I'm sure we're in for some fascinating and challenging racing.

Ranked Teams to be announced, please sign up on the league site if you haven't already to set the ball rolling. I need as many as possible on the Team list for this to work properly.
Calender to be updated on the league site asap.
The track order on Server 1 has been set to the season order.
Skinners should add last season finishing numbers to there skins from the final standings on the league site. Up to you guys. You earned it

At League Site, underneath Sim/Season dropdown menu, there is a box saying Historic season.
That means Past Seasons.
If it is checked you cannot see current F1 season, so uncheck it to register to F1 season.

Anyway Im puzzled with this, it is an F1 Ferrari, but only F1 Ferrari I know with NART colours was the 158 and this surely isnt it.
So, what is this picture?

The car at your photo must be Bandini's car, as it is a 12cyl.
Surtees had the 8cyl car at Mexico, the one above.

i missed paul and jim hehe,,,i lied there are 4 north americans ....boobies....well the 2 middle fielders who have been battling together for positions on a regular basis are thinking of mending our ways and joining up

our combined age will likely make us a true 'vintage team' and im happy to have a teamie i can call 'old man'
