est track Brianza car version Techno 101

The only setup changes I did were as follows as they are somewhere near where I would run them , I didnt want to change too much from your own settings and I tried to drive them identically .

lowered front and rear to 6 / 6.5
dropped tyres to 100 all round
dropped bump stops to minimum
camber 1.4 front and rear
20ltrs fuel

Same setup run on all 3 cars

Tf2B 246 kph 1.37.911
Tf2 263 kph 136.183
Spark 263 kph 1.37.164

Tf2b could take Curve Grande flat in top , tf2-spark I had to drop to 4th or they fell off .
All car displayed moderate understeer into Lesmo 1 Tf2b was marginally better
Tf2b moderate understeer through Lesmo 2 ,Tf2 and Spark heavy understeer
Tf2B was fine under braking and cornering at Parabolica but Tf2 and Spark were both locking right front so had to brake earlier , after that they cornered OK

I will do the same for the Matra

I've been testing the Matra in a slow track like Mid-Ohio and it feels nice to drive. "Easy" to drive while steel challenging when pushed hard.
In this track AI cars seem to drive very similar times both wing or wingless and also Spark's time are very similar (just a couple of tenths slower than the Matra according to AI driving them).

The only con for me is the FFB, steering is nice but bumps get a bit hard causing the classic rattles from the G27.

cool Smile
default setup is ISI one,i think i just altered gears on spark to match eve when using AI.
i use different one for eve on monza66,didnt want to force people to use my set..so i left garage options default.

maybe is better that way so people can feel changes on car when changing stuff in garage Smile

yea on my csw to,but thats tires fault Sad didnt want to touch tires because they need little more time to tweak..
when i had g25 i was always using high ffb smoothing, even now im using from 7 to 14 filter.11 for this mod,i have neighbours and thin walls so i dont have options Smile

No prob then. I had also lowered the FFB smoothing for the BT44 season.

I like the way the tail gets off place if you kiss a kerb at the apex of a corner with the rear of the car (In Mid-Ohio kerbs are rather high)

Wow. I leave my computer off for one day, and kiko has created a new mod, and it's been tested and revised. Can't wait to try it!

Got it was just about to delete that post :-)

RE: F2 Historic with flex chassis by kiko0602 - JimmyC - 15-12-2017

I've recently gone back and given these a drive. Wow! They're REALLY good. I strongly recommend giving them another season. Of course kiko's modded F3s are pretty awesome, too, especially with all the engine choices.

So kiko's F2s and his modded F3s with 200 hp engine have the same power-to-weight ratio. Hmmm. Something to consider. I may have to do some research and see how lap times compare.

We are open to ideas for the 2018 spring league.

RE: F2 Historic with flex chassis by kiko0602 - JimmyC - 16-12-2017

So far the F3-200hp-flex chassis is still a little slower than the F2-flex chassis, about half a second at Road Atlanta and Mosport. The F2 has more tire, a little more hp, and a wing on the "b" version. Considering all that, it's remarkable how close they are. I expected the F3 to lose traction under power more than it does. However throttle-induced oversteer is clearly available. ;D
