Would like to try the TransAm one last time at the newly updated Belgium Spa Historic 1960s.
Track long that you only need 2 laps for a race Big Grin.

No - you’ve not missed anything that was organised at least. I think Ratus was referring to the inaugural Wednesday race with the Trans Ams.

Riverside, Road America, and Road Atlanta would be great choices for these cars.

Great fun at Willow Springs but during one of the races my game crashed and after restarting every subsequent race was ruined by it giving me 5l fuel when my setup has 21l. The sound was also almost inaudible. Something went very wrong. Until then though the racing was excellent, close and respectful.

Yep - another night of good racing. I think we will stick with them for another week or so but the Caterham is lurking in the wings…. Wink

I’m getting the impression that the new dynamic road-temperature real road grip can be quite significant. I was doing a bit of practice earlier with @deecee52 (remember him?WinkBig Grin) and was struggling a lot for grip - come the actual event, I was pleasantly surprised to find conditions much better with the same setup. I *think* that the track temp might’ve been quite a bit higher during my earlier practice - the cloud cover cycles more slowly than in Qualy/race the way I set it and a prolonged low-cloud session might’ve sent track temps rocketing…

@deecee52 - I didn’t use your setup as-is in the end but did notice a potential bug while practicing after you left. Even though the left/right settings were shown as locked, by changing the camber only one side was updating - leading to an asymmetric setup. Couldn’t reproduce it later but will try again at some point.

More realistic but not something I'm liking too much. I struggle enough to get "fast" as it is without an added variable.

We can turn it off…

I'm not asking for that. Just venting. If most people are OK with it please carry on. I will adjust.

I'm thinking NOLA (Studio 397) might be a track to try on Wednesdays. There are multiple layouts.

RE: Wednesday Night Fun Races - Trans Am Golden Era - Edvvc - 24-08-2022

On Wednesday (Trans Ams at Watkins Glen) the game crashed like it did at Willow Springs. Towards the end of the evening mid-race the graphics froze but the sound and FFB continued for a bit then the game crashed to desktop. Might have been my graphics card overheating but it hasn't happened like this with other mods.

RE: Wednesday Night Fun Races - Trans Am Golden Era - deecee52 - 24-08-2022

i had no problems during races , but just once in a practice session my screen went black for a couple of seconds , the only other problem i have is i cannot drive the Camao , in car i just get a black screen with mirrors , tries deleting and instaling fresh download but still the same

DC, is it possible your car seat is too far back and part of the seat is blocking your view? I'm only guessing.
A screen shot is worth a thousands words.

ED, that sounds like what Tim was getting last year. Tim never said how he fixed his problem.
The Windows Event Viewer might give you clues if it's your graphics card.

Thank you for the setup DC. Made me a bit quicker. So quick, I was keep taking GM out with the extra speed Big Grin.

I have to be honest (old) I don't remember the problem. I do know that I replaced my power supply with a bigger one and things are better now, so maybe that was it.

Ed when you changed mobo did you replace PSU at same time ?

No, but it's a Seasonic 860W that a friend assures me is sufficient for my 980Ti graphics card. That card probably needs dust blown out of it after 7 years of use.
