RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - Edvvc - 23-10-2022 I examined the afterburner history graphs after the crash and could see nothing unusual happening immediately before the crash other than greatly increased CPU activity from one minute before, and when I was dumped to the desktop there was an icon at the bottom of the screen informing me a windows update was waiting to be applied. RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - deecee52 - 24-10-2022 What AV are you using ? and just refresh my memory with your machine specs RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - Edvvc - 24-10-2022 deecee52, post: 31895, member: 19 Wrote:What AV are you using ? and just refresh my memory with your machine specsNo AV except for Windows 10's built-in Windows Defender. i7 5820K 16GB DDR4 6GB 980Ti RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - Edvvc - 27-10-2022 I seem to be able to recreate the crash by simply being on a multiplayer server for 100 minutes. It's happened twice this evening on the Sunday server. Attached is a portion of the history graphs generated by MSI Afterburner where the time of the crash is indicated with the red arrow (20:12BST). There is a burst of CPU activity about a minute before the crash and I have seen this every time I have been looking at these graphs after the crash (about 4 times now). RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - mel1c - 27-10-2022 I think I recall seeing similar sounding crashes on the Studio 397 Forum. Maybe DJ or someone can shine some light on this I see you are already on the forum and talking to Coutie RE: TAGELE Feature League - Sunday 23rd October - Round 1/8 - Portland Intl (Sprint layout) - Myles (Mr Fox) - 28-10-2022 Edvvc, post: 31927, member: 582 Wrote:I seem to be able to recreate the crash by simply being on a multiplayer server for 100 minutes. I'm busy with work but will check. Update: I've checked settings and there doesn't appear to be an option to set where they're recorded, but I've dropped the fidelity from Medium to Low and cleared out old replays in the hope this makes a difference. |
