RE: Tuesday Fun from 16th July - Bruce - 23-08-2024

In iRacing league on Tuesdays, but the other nights (including Sundays) I am online I try and fit a couple of official iRacing series in, so could join if/when a new season is started.

Thanks Bruce. We need to see some of the old regulars back.

Great (well I hope your loss is our gain!)

We’re hoping for maybe some SCB visitors so I’ll make sure we have the server up tomorrow (Saturday.

RE: Tuesday Fun from 16th July - Myles (Mr Fox) - 24-08-2024

Tuesday 27th will be the Cooper T73s at Mugello. Probably 4-lap races (we aim for c.10 minute races).

For our visitors, we gather from 7PM UK time at !SR4L Svr-3 for 30 mins practice.
Qualy is 10 minutes to 7:40PM and sets the first race grid only. Warmup (2 mins) is generally skipped - please shout if you need the time to tweak something.
Subsequent races are reverse grids from the previous finishing positions. Turnover is quick-fire - warmup is restarted soon after the race finish, the grid is set and as long as no one has any problems, we skip the rest of warmup and start the next race.

We don't generally don't restart races for any reason - but the races are kept quite short so that if you mess up, it's not long to the next one. There's no pitstop requirement and the pitlane speed is a healthy 94mph so no need to dawdle!

Races continue until c.9PM (usually around 8:40PM recently - depends on demand).

The Cooper T73 can be downloaded directly here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4cbq9lczcpdqqjk/COOPER_T73.rfcmp/file
Mugello is available from the Steam Workshop.
You *can* download all content from our server *but* it the download speed is limited by my broadband and we request that - if at all possible - you download from Steam etc.

Timing is currently offline - we use Log File Analyzer but I need to reconfigure it following recent network changes.

Our server does not have a fixed IP address so the RF2 'favourites' feature does not work reliably.

Any questions, please ask. Drivers are usually happy to share setups - just ask.

Can't find Mugello in Workshops. Is it the 1.11 version?

Thank You,
Posted details in SCB Discord.

RE: Tuesday Fun from 16th July - Myles (Mr Fox) - 25-08-2024

….not quite sure why it’s so hard to find from within the workshop itself - I had to follow an external Google result!

RE: Tuesday Fun from 16th July - Myles (Mr Fox) - 25-08-2024

We don't have a fixed IP address any more so the timing link can break at any time.
For now...  http://2.127.79.170:8000/
If it *does* break, you should be able to make a working link by finding the server IP in this list:  https://fun4all.lt/serverlist/v2/rF2.php  and then appending :8000 to the end of it as above.

It's set to hidden in the workshop because I guess it's a rip from another game.

RE: Tuesday Fun from 16th July - stu3284 - 25-08-2024

Its also available from ISR which was why I was getting confused as I had it already.  Undecided

Oh, right. I wasn’t aware you could have hidden items.
