Yeah, I'm with Vittorio on this one. Although I DO know why. Changing cars whenever you like doesn't seem right!

Aren't we racing 5x fuel as in previous races? With the new historic cars version tire wear model driving heavier could make things more interesting.

We didnt ALL have an agreement in this, but I accept the agreement between us two at least.

We had unrealistic tyre wear previously so x fuel was a way of forcing the stop, now it's second nature to stop once. If the tyres are wearing faster we won't need to worry about fuel multiplying. The quickest stop now being for tyres only, you can start with fuel to the end if you like and save a some time in the pits. I'm sure most would know that already

On Sunday we are racing at Snetterton and after 2 weeks we go to Monza if that is what you are asking Jason.

I need to know if we're going with the new updated Historics on Sunday. The feel of the cars is a bit different, I hope we're using the updated but need to know for practice purposes.
If we are, would you guys be so kind as to make a vmod please when you have time? The current one uses the old physics.

At Home page (first page when you enter here), upside, under SR4L Live Server Status, extreme right, there is Shoutbox.
If you dont see it, just press arrow which should be pointing downwards.

First feelings with the new tire model in the Eve:
- Front tires locked up more easily at brakings.
- Car felt more slippery at mid curve (at least in this track).
- Car felt a little more radical when losing rear traction during acceleration.
As a result, laptimes were significantly slower.

I think this is a very poor upgrade, ISI seem to put more emphasis on eye candy rather than getting the dynamics sorted so you can have good racing , these cars were never like this in real life you only have to watch historic racing to see that , if it wasnt for the great community we have here at SR4L i think I would have dropped this sim and moved on
