Late report Smile

I finally worked out how to drive the track Sunday afternoon, lucky Cricket was washed out :'(. Marcel had told me to use low revs but my right foot refused to listen to him, damn foot has always had a mind of it's own. In the end we worked it out and came to an agreement ;D

Qualifying went well. An amazing amount of cars on track and half the battle was timing your run. I managed a 1:13.3 which put me tenth of memory. Pretty happy to start there as I wasn't confident with this track and getting racey.

Race 1 and 2 were a lot of fun. Chasing, being chased you could not relax for one minute. My arch rival DC had a great first race gaining more points on me while I finished in 7th. In race 2 I managed a 5th while DC finished out of the points helping me catch up to him in the Drivers Championship. We have to watch out, Jason Reid is on fire and making huge ground. The battle for 4th place this season is going to be a close one.

Race 3 was a disaster, involved in an incident on T1 and having to pit first lap I made a mistake with the Repair settings. First I thought I could drive the car so I set Don't Repair. After a few corners I realised I have to repair so I set it back to Repair all only to see once I had pitted that it said Repair Body... so I had to stop again for the full repair. Finished in 18th place 45 seconds behind my wife who is still smiling and running around the house spraying Champagne after her 10th place :-*

All in all a great night for SR4L, there is always some stress behind the scenes but we're really happy that it ran well. Great to see new members joining in the fun, we need to keep growing at a health rate. Great to see so many [SR4L] tags on drivers names as it says a lot about what you guys and gal think of our community Smile

Cheers,
Fergy
