Hey,
i would love 2 participate aswell. Did registered at the league page aswell.
I'm puzzled about which config will be raced at the tracks. Brianza with or without "oval"? Where can i find the mods?
Tips for stress testing my system 2 get the right gfx settings? Like say - if it runs smooth with $nr AI (10 cars displayed at max) i'm good 2 go?
Is TS mandatory during race? Jibber jabber destracts me and i will end up kissing a tree
looking forward 2 race with you
Edit: Are there some good setups? I realy suck with building setups by myself :-(

Since you did, at League Site drop down menus choose at Season, SR4L 1960's Brabjam League.
Then, press DRIVER button at top, EDIT DATA and put your name and car number there (available car numbers 4,5,6,8,9) as a driver for the season.

We start without the oval.
Brianza with the oval is called Brianza 10k (so you can recognise them

TS is not mandatory and many of us dont use it.
About setups dont worry, we share a lot around.
About your system, join the server and see what is worth.
Mine is not so good so I dont use shadows and Im ok.
BTW it would be cool if you said some things to us about yourself here

well, first of all excuse my terrible english, i'm not a native speaker and dont need 2 write often so i'm not in a good shape.
1. Performance issues ...
- i think on the practice session i joined 12 cars where active. During practice i run rFactor2 with mostly "high", shadows med with fast blur. No HDR. Sync is GPU.
- So in race we got 22-24 cars? Everything was screwd. At my first loading attempt i started with 8 frames ... so i put it down. A bit 2 much i think
Circiut, Player, Oponent, Texture Details all on "Low". Texture Filter: Bilinear. Everything else of or set 2 no.
Resut 110 Frames but unberable crappy gfx. Felt like 10 years ago.
Maybe i could have improved it a bit, but there was no time left - race warmup alredy started. So i just hopped in and ... my client crashed. After relog i could'nt join the grid and also i couldn't start from the pits. Which i dont understand 'cause all was loaded up before green flag.
2. Race issues?
At the 2nd race i was able 2 find myself on the grid and with a stable client. Didnt watched the first race but the second one was a bit awful. A lot of crashes and yellow flags in front of me. A few laps later i got a contact on one of the longer straights. Not sure if there was a netcode issue. In my replay the other car moved left 2 my side of the street and hit my right rear end tire.
3. endless repair?
So my car humbled slowly back 2 the pit for repairs. Even after minutes my crew just dont like 2 let me go again. I couldnt find any information about "2 much damage" or "XY seconds repair left" so i hit the ESC-Key.
I hope there is improvement left, 'cause this experience was realy worse. Maybe i should wait for the next rFactor2 release before trying MP again. Its a bit disapointing - especialy if you do some extra practice laps 2 be a litle bit competetive. I endet up with low 1:32:x, a "perfect lap" would be 1:31:7xx. May sound funny but it was close 2 hard work 2 get even thus far - "new sim", new car, new track ...
System: intel 3ghz dual core, 4GB Ram 1333MHZ, nvidea geforce 660gtx ti 3GB Ram, Vista

Point system: 25,21,19,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
I guess you'll have 26 points
Someone will update the standings I guess. I don't know if league site is working or if it has to be done manually.

Lately there are connection problems to all.
I never had them but with this build, Im having them too.
I have i7, 6G, w7 64bit, but my video card is struggling so I leave shadows off.
Try that next time, maybe things will work out for you.

Not sure it that is a good comparision 2 online mp 23 cars. But i think it's mostly about "oponent detail" and "texture detail" after i put them 2 medium it worked fine - with higher settings my system starts 2 struggle in a similiar way as mentioned before.
Try that next time, maybe things will work out for you.
Without shadows my framerate would be higher but it is alredy fine with shadows medium and fast blur on shadows - 60 frames at start, later up to 78-90, everything without stutters. Also i needed 2 turn aa and fast aa of. If i go 2 high texture details i realy hate like the edges are redered. But on medium its just fine. Lets hope it will work better the next time. See ya!

@Xorak, i dunno how you have got reflections set but i do know they take a lot of fps. with my former computer (I5 760, GTX650) putting of reflections it gained me a lot of fps. you could try that one 8) and keep the rest of the settings to full or high.....

What you are showing there, must be v.22 Alpha by Wgeuze which is not in a state to be raced.

The server is set for Zolder v .22, so I went and downloaded the track and took a look. Don't like it. "Featureless" is how I would describe it. I then tried the Zolder79 v .1, liked that. Have a look guys and see what you think.
