RE: F1 ASR '92 championship - hardtohandle - 18-01-2015

I was of of the understanding that you did nothing on the gap week, now I do recall in the past you did practice races so please forgive me for that oversight. That is what we did too at Legends, we run the same vmod for two weeks with a practice race and championship race, now we swapped the practice race for the inter league race.

I also see now that your in the process of recruiting admins for the new season, so this discussion has perhaps not come at the best time. We are in no mad rush to get this inter league championship up and running, so if there is some interest in it perhaps we should discuss it more when you have your admin situation straight Smile

......as best as your interests don't conflict with my interests.....

I think cooperating in having both communities racing on alternate weekends is the best for everyone. And then people can chose to race whatever they want.

I think there is some misunderstanding here.

If we race in alternate weekends with League Legents, that means we will have the choice of entering both our season and theirs.

While this may sound good to some, as LL are planning to do ASR '92 this season, it is not guaranteed that the same persons will like Legends mod next season.

What hardtohandle proposes is, everybody have their season in same Sunday, and Sundays between we take part in an Interleague championship which is guaranteed to have large grids.
This way we keep our identity and at the same time mingle with people from other Leagues.
Almost the same with fun races we have here but with larger grids.

Please read carefully above, these are the choices we have to make.
Or stay as we are.

Yes this is what I thought too when I read the proposal, it really comes down to this. I can only see benefits from participating in the Interleague championship Smile

What car is SR4L contemplating running for season 5? (wingless I hope!)

Most probably we'll drive the Lola, so there'll be some wing to deal with.
