RE: SR4L - 1973 Porsche 911 RSR Season Official Announcement - DJCruicky - 26-03-2021

Tested with 3 PC's
DeeCees = i7-6700 16GB ram GTX 1070
Fergy = i5-10400, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB of RAM
Mine = i5-4670K, GTX 770OC and 8GB RAM

Out of curiosity does this happen on your PC?

The above tests were done in single player.
Today we been doing some tests with 25 AI cars on the server to see if the lag is still there. The good news I can say in this test there was no lag for both Me and Deeecee The admins are discussing if the league might still go ahead with the car. At this point of time, I'm not sure what is happening on Sunday, it might be an other fun race. I'm not the boss.

RE: SR4L - 1973 Porsche 911 RSR Season Official Announcement - Fergy - 27-03-2021

We are going ahead with the race Sunday. It will not be for points but more a final test. If we could fill the grid and run a stress test that would be great.

Look forward to seeing a many of you as possible on track.

won't be able to join early as I have got to try and rerun an iRacing race at Bristol Dirt (just like the real race). may be able to join later on.

Just remembered the clocks. The iRacing race will be at 9 (not 8) so will be able to join you'll for an hour or so, enough to text the system hopefully.

That is a nice setup Smile

RE: SR4L - 1973 Porsche 911 RSR Season Official Announcement - gorgias1976 - 28-03-2021

Shame cpu is way too old to be able to play triple screen, normally two of the screens are connected to the work laptop

RE: SR4L - 1973 Porsche 911 RSR Season Official Announcement - Dimitris Papps - 29-03-2021

Tested practice and race session@Lime with different ai.
Under 25 ai everything is smooth,over 25 and i got funny stuttering like trembling ai cars and random slowdowns like the ones we had@silver.
I even tested racing@night and it was ok(rf2 looks so ugly@night...)

forgot to mention,cpu is i5-3570k,16gb ram and gtx1080ti,triple 27' monitor setup.

Is anyone interested in an ‘improved’ layered template for painting skins?

I’ve spent (quite) a bit of time retro-engineering the standard livery DDS files to identify the areas used by the major body parts (bumpers, roof, sides, bonnet, a-pillars, rear ‘wing’) fairly accurately. I’ve split each into layers (using Gimp but can export as .PSD) for reference - so it’s already a lot easier to paint more than just a block colour.

Happy to share here (somehow???)

I'm sure drivers will be more than glad to have the chance of making their own liveries. Mediadire can be a good place to host the templates.
