Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 6 of our Historic's League.
This season we take back historic open wheelers and we will drive a very well balanced car that will bring great close racing, the Eve F2.
This seventh event we'll take place in Jarama and will be splitted in two 30 min races. Having the second race reversed grid for the top ten finishers of the first race.
Twisty and bumpy alongside blind corners and different posible lines through them this track will bring very interesting battles.

How does it sound like Gorka, H'arama or Har'ama?

It would sound like Ha-rA-ma Strong "H", soft "r" and the accent goes to in the "A" in the middle.

The name comes from a small town and river where the track is located, very close to Madrid.

This track version is aweful its so bumpy its more like a rally stage than a race track , i am sure the real track was never this rough as they would have been lighting the tyres up and spinning like mad .

jarama 79 is a FAR better place to race than this track Wink

that is unless you have studded tires...... if you wanna know what it is like to race in the rain or on ice, here is the place........ :o

A podium finish gets more and more expensive then.

I took some laps yesterday, so easy to lock braking in this track. The main straight bumps at the end won't help at all.
Every lap is a constant battle with the wheel if, like me, you use a strong FFB.

No, no, no and no! :o The only giant spider I saw was dead. And I did not see kangaroos but lots of wallabys. They came to eat breakfast with us every morning at the hostel in Ku-ring-gai national park. Nor did I see any snakes, but lots of lizards instead, in all different sizes and shapes. Well, I spent most of my time in Sydney and there are no dangerous animals there. Saw some cool squirrel gliders though, and lots of black birds that sounds like cats. It was nice there. I also had the chance to rent a car and drive on the wrong side of the road for the first time in my life. We went to a place called Jenolan Caves and the road down there was really exciting. And on our way back to Sydney we took some small beautiful roads. Damn, those where the most fun roads I've encountered. Felt like driving rally. Full steering ratio was barely enough to get through some of those corners 8)

Thanks for reporting, although most dangerous spiders are at Sydney, they are smaller than the usual big ones tho.

Did you drive a manual? If yes, wasnt difficult changing gears with left hand?

Aha didn't know that. Well, I didn't see any spiders at all in Sydney Tongue

No, automatic. I'm glad I did. Changing gears with left hand would feel really weird! Trying to avoid activating wipers instead of indicators was hard enough LOL. But I learned quite fast. Now I would like to try a manual car too.

This track hurt my eyes lol. Not only because it's quite ugly, but the anti-aliasing is not working very well for me. My skin look bad-ass matte though..

Well, I did my first laps today and imo the road is not as bad as I first thought. It's a fun track layout. What laptimes are you guys doing? I'm doing low 1:39s at the moment but so far less than 15 laps in total.

edit: btw, how much rubber on track? doesn't look like much at all, but maybe it's just how it looks. Quite slippery out there..

Hey guy's. I'm gonna skip this one. I've hurt my left hand with a saw last week and last night i tried a few laps but it's to painful and started bleeding again.
