I suppose people believed they are immortal charging like that in turn 1, Race 1.

I didnt mind, I ended up almost 1st there Big Grin

As I always say, you would be all dead IRL guys if you raced like that with no care about your car or the people around you Tongue

All and all, a great flowing little track and a handy manageable great vintage race car, Kristijan's kind offer to SR4L, gave us a sweet race time.

Great attendance, so many new friends sticking with us, everything going good for SR4L and its members.

Report how your race went please all.

All in all a good weekend as I expected to finish badly here in this car but was able to finish both races with an 8th and a 12th no bad. Qual 11 so hung in there.
Had long pit stop in race 1 kind of hurt me because I had some damage I guess but good finish.
Race two good battle for a few laps with Ron but he flew by me after a few. Was trying to catch John and had to move over for a faster car and it let him get away but was fun trying.
Was fun guys are faster and faster don't know how.

It wasn't a good race day for the RBR team.
Andi couldn't even make it on the grid due to hardware gremlins – a kind of a McLaren-esque situation :-[

In Quali I couldn't match my PB and started in row 4. Race 1 almost ended in T1 when I had some eye-to-eye and more contact with some guys looking into the wrong direction. However, I carried on quite outside of the Top 10, but made it back to P7 after some laps with a bend steering. I was eager to carry on with the damaged car, but – again in T1 – I faced some cars looking into my direction. This time the damage was significant and I spend 220sec in the box. I carried on and collected a few points.

In Race 2 I started from P13. I had a great start and passed a few cars on the straight keeping my car on the edge of the outside line. This time I didn't even made it into T1. I was already collected on the straight while keeping my car straight. Bad luck. This time I went into pits straight away and came out a lap behind the field. I tried to do some clean laps to preserve the tires for more than 30 laps. Finally, I made it back into the Top 10, enjoying some great racing with Dan Minges during the last 10 or so laps.

See you next time! 8)

Not very happy about those two races .
I had no pace for quali but good pace for the race .
Starting p4 was ok but the guys in front collided and i had nowhere to go and got stack behind them and damage the car.
I dont know how i really end up second in this one

Second race i made a bad start and then i dont know what happen but felt contact from behind and crashed in first corner again jeess!!!
From there i drove very frustrated race and could not focus anymore.

That was quiet easy track to learn compare to last one but somehow lots of accidents here.
Well maybe next will be better
Congr winners and podium

Bad comeback for me lol

Q: I was quite frustrated not to be able to reach my pb in the beginning. Track felt slippy but probably I was overdriving just slightly. Finally managed to get down to to 51,4 but had small improvements almost every lap that I managed to ruin somehow in the final corners. With just a few seconds to go I thought pole would be mine after all but Kristijan stole it >Sad

R1: Ok start considering the dirty side, I was just behind Kristijan, but Russel had made a better start than us and was slightly ahead of me on the outside. Then I misjudged how fast we would enter T1. As I was caught in between two drivers I couldn't take the outside line without touching wheels with Russel and caused us both to spin. Sorry about that Sad I was hit by cars coming from behind and left as the very last guy on track with suspension damage. It worsened a few laps later when I tried to overtake a slow guy but had to avoid him and crashed into the wall. Repaired for 2 minutes and somehow managed to finish top 10 anyway.

R2: A really short race. Managed to claim the lead early on, and was followed by Russel. Everything felt good and I was slowly pulling a gap, but after a few laps disaster struck. I went just a little bit wide in the corner before the hill/jump. Somehow, even though I was aware I had to go over the jump straight, and thought I did, I suddenly lost the rear. I was so completely surprised that I had no time to react and crashed into the wall. I gave up the race immidietely because I didn't want to spend ages in the pits again, when championship points are not important to me.

Only positive thing is that the speed is still there. Only thing missing is the consistency. After all I had only done hot laps and no longer stints at all. See you guys sometime in the future.. Maybe next f2 race, I dunno.. Wink
