RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - Fergy - 29-04-2019 Please make sure you try a Race practice start offline with a good amount of AI on the track. The grids are not staggered and is going to be a very tight T1. Also, No starting light sequence at this track. You'll need to use your LCD screen at the start of the race. RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - Tygernoot - 30-04-2019 Oh dear. Perhaps we should all do a practice start together before the race
RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - gorgias1976 - 30-04-2019 Server is now set to have 2 lap races. Whenever you meet several drivers on the server vote for the "straight to race" option and practice starts as much as you can. RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - Tygernoot - 02-05-2019 Tried it out yesterday... This is going to be fun without starting lights... ![]() The starting grid is also on a slight (downwards) slope. How do you guys handle the clutch + throttle at the start while also having to hold the brake? I've always heel & toed to keep the car stopped while on throttle on this type of race starts. RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - Keeper - 02-05-2019 Also, cars are garaged on pit lane, so anyone who is out of the race will be parked on pit lane. Pray there's no pitbox sharing with a car that's out of the race. RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - Tygernoot - 02-05-2019 Oh dear. Perhaps if you crash, it’s best to park the car on the side of the track and stay connected, rather than escaping and obstructing the pitlane. It’s a bit late now, but maybe we should have switched to Montreal instead, considering these issues. RE: Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Round 14 Canada - J-P SImard - 03-05-2019 Stopping at the edge of the track is a good compromise in my opinion. If not, fill up with gas for the race or push the car a little further? |
