Bravo Andi for your victory, from my side you will see my scary crash 4 minutes from the end. A crash in every respect similar to that of Gordon Smiley, it is sure that I killed myself in this crash.

EDIT: A very big thank to Tim for the stat and Bryan Fergurson for his very good setup. You litterally save my race. Thank you.

Yeah saw your crash a few minutes from the end.. bitter. Most crashes in these cars are fatal, they tend to head skywards after kissing the wall. I noticed that I was gaining on you a bit in the last stint (from half a lap back..), your tires seemed to be quite worn at that time. But no chance to really catch you.

Thankfully, Tobias gifted me a very workable setup, before I was nowhere, then I could plant the right foot for the first few laps on new tires. After that, it was really working out a good race setup, since quali in that race is probably not very important. Tobias was also always fastest in the runup to the race and then a DNF, I think he suffered from an engine failure? Too bad.

And for a change, I did not make mistakes, a few times a bit too much speed int the corner, but the understeery nature of these cars made it easy to catch these. I also was lucky to avoid debris and spinning cars. Tried to be very cautious when overtaking. But winnig an hour long race in indy is still mostly down to luck and a good setup I guess. Thanks everyone for a great race!

I was looking forward to the race so much I forgot to exit the game after Qualy and return during warm up. If I don't the FFB goes crazy. I have no idea why it happens, it's only rfactor. Of course as soon as the race started I realised my mistake which was pretty disappointing. I stopped in the pits, turned the wheel off and on again and continued with no FFB. After about 50 laps I started getting the hang of it but it's rather to impossible to race like that, especially on an oval. Apologies to those at the start who I tried to get out of the way of. I had not control at all. Oh well... next time.

Well done Andi, great drive. I hope oval racing has a place here at SR4L, personally I'm new to it but I find it pretty cool. The incredible speed is awesome and setting the car up is so different to traditional racing. I love that stuff. Any thoughts on how it could run better would be much appreciated.

One round left of the 4x4 Championship, going to be interesting to see who takes out the title. Then... it's League time. We're almost ready with it...

Monitoring the race Bryan I saw you go to the pits along with John Cook. I thought you both had crashed or something.

I would stake a dollar on ED.

In addition to being fast and solid, he is a Ring specialist, I can not see how he could loose this race. On my side I'm bad on this track and I do not think I can finish 3rd. I think my accident in the last rounds at Indy will cost me a lot.

But I can not wait to see the outcome, we must not forget Andi also who is well placed in the fight.

Even with the amount of laps I have done one the 'ring, I am still awful on that track. You dont have to worry about me Wink

I too am an almost beginner on this track, only a race in F1 1976 last season that I had quite difficult. In 15 years of online racing, I have always been too lazy to learn it. ;-)

Do you have a FFB reset button setup on your keyboard?

it does not solve the problem Dani. I've messed around with the in game ffb and it seems to ok so far. Possibly something to do with minimum FFB setting being set to high now at 0.5
