Hi Gorka in the announcement it says ( because it is a fun event there's no mandatory pit stops ) as its a league event will there be pit stops required cheers

Thanks, I've removed the "fun event" reference. Pitstops won't be mandatory as races are not long enough.

Yes there is no fun in a historic SR4L league there is just good driving and bad driving

ok, just kidding , sliding the Porsche over the Silverstone tarmac is actually a lot of fun. With everything tuned down framerates were okayish with a few drivers but could still be different. Looking forward to Sunday and hope for a full grid.

Ok. Here's the update. We will be racing this very Sunday. league event #1 at Silverstone. Points won't be scored as it will be considered a test race.
Eastern holidays will help us do more research in the behavior of the car and also dig inside its files and see if we can figure out what causes the performance issues

Hm. Deleted the rFm and the Package, uninstalled and re-installed the mods, but it still comes up with "Unable to download server mod."

Ah hah. There was another Silverstone in my collection that was conflicting.

So yeah, there's something heavy about these cars. Even right behind a single car I'm seeing their mirrors disappear as the game reduces detail level to keep the frame rate up, I guess. I didn't actually look at my frame rates and didn't notice any actual problems (I have it try to maintain at least 60 or 75 -- I forget which -- with a cap at 144, the refresh rate of my monitor). Occasionally stuttering sound when watching other people on track (on the 20-second replay I think). Other people had more serious issues of course.
