Three doughnuts to me.
Race1

Right at the end of the warm-up I get a CTD (not the first of the day). Tried to restart rFactor2 quickly but race had already started, so I just could stay in the garage and watch it.
Race2

In fear of a CTD I did not go out on track in the warmup (since this build I get this CTD when I press scape to go back to the garage or when sessions is changed).
Starting at the back of the pack I began to build my speed behind Bryan when I saw a crash at the front, a car going through the fence. I broke hard to avoid the crash and as I was thinking I had already saved it I got a bit hit from the guys coming behind.
Car had a lot of damage and it was really difficult to drive so I went for a repair. It took more than two minutes. Returning to race, a couple of laps later at the chicane I found lots of smoke and DjC stopped facing rearwards. Just could not avoid him and crashed into him losing my front wheels and making it the end of this race.
Race 3.

Another CTD at the beginning of the Warmup session. I was so much out of concentration because of this that at the very first lap, even though I made a good start and took first place, almost lost it at casino and crashed at the chicane. Imposible to be concentrated with this many CTD happening.
I hope ISI fixes this soon or proper racing will be really difficult.

if you updated try a clean install Gorgias, perhaps something has gone bad.

You must save the Packages folder so you dont d/l all again.
I suspect you keep the Player folder too, all Settings probably are there (and setups, skins) but I always forget it.

Bad luck for those who suffered from ctd's, I'm getting my share too but it didn't really interfere tonight...
That chicane is so horrid, you have to go through without braking because that multplies your steering and makes you all wiggly but all I wanna do there is brake lol
So qualy was mere hotlapping, I learned a lot from Guiseppe Melis, terribly fast guy. I tried his approach without asking for his set, configured the gearing to how he did it and that helped a lot.
Race 1 I started with the knowledge that anything could happen and I didnt expect much of the weekend as a whole. And so at lap 4 I took a dive after trying to tip toe the chicane but steering straight into the barrier. Could also be the shark who wanted to take a swim...
Race 2 I had a great start, I gained some places but without having seen the replay at this moment, I think I collided with DjC because I did not expect/see him there. I came out with damage but it was driveable and made my way still in top ten. Must have been a pile-up... Sorry about that. :-\ I passed some people who gave way for me too, respect for that and after some laps and just before my pitstop, some drivers crashed after the chicane. I had to be so careful, zigzagging around the pile ups and respawning cars, but finally I reached my pit. The team did a super job because my damage was fixed in no time. I left repairs on, on purpose and because of the hassle it is to turn it off. Quick stop and on the road again, I was a little worried because a lot of drivers had passed me during the stop but eventually, after a lot of careful chicanes I saw Cook taking his stop and drove my car to victory. Hallelujah!!!
Most amazing was the fact I drove on after the finish, got up to my teammate Neela who was on her last lap but.. with.. drumroll.... 3 wheels!!! LOL! and magnificent effort Neela!
Race 3 from the back. Again good start, being careful following the pack, I got up to second position behind DjC. Again some drivers let me go and again, respect and many thanks for that. When I stopped for my mandatory pitstop, I was about 5 secs behind DjC. He kept going and I had to make up that time so I gave it all I got the whole track, except for the chicane. Just after DjC's stop, I drove along the stracht and saw his name tag and thought, is he still standing or driving and I hesitated with T1-entry. But then I noticed him slowly getting out of pit and in a split-second I stepped on it and tried to pass him on the outside of turn one. Not without damage though as I scraped the guardrail quite good... So with damage and a persisting David Cruickshank on my tail but in first place, I made my way up to the crest and from there on ,again , tip toeing through the chicane and as quick as possible though the rest of the track. Again, luck on my side and 1st place finish from the very back of the pack! Woohoo!!
Very much un-expected wins, finally luck is on my side I guess

If there's is one positive, you still lead the Championship. Better luck next time mate. Neela has the same problem or similar. Rf2 is causing the pc to restart and it is a fresh install. The last two builds have been problematic for some that's for sure.

That was bad luck Gorgias. I'm sure it will be my turn to CTD next race (hope not). I trust you have Transparent trainer switched off?
I never went swimming this time (no fish), but did smash myself off the harbour wall a few times, ouch, ending one of my races there. Hard driving car with wheel at 45 degrees for 9 laps. At one point had to wait for a big gaggle of cars to go by before I could reverse and rejoin.
Race 3 was my best race. Had a good jump on a number of people at start, was not long before I was leading (big thank you to people that just let me passed). Had MarcelW on my tail 5 seconds behind gaining a small bit every lap, he pitted first, then I did a few laps later. I come out of the pits side by side, so close but he got the lead from me as I exited (the sod, ha, boo hiss). Followed him to the finish in a close 2nd. After watching race reply I was disappointed to see the reason how he did the jump in the pits. Big question over his pit entrance. Boo and hiss at the 'Low Land racing' team :p.

Qualy
I went early to avoid congestion and managed to set a time I was happy with in 4 laps this netted me 5th so I sat the rest of the session out , I set my pit strategy for 9 laps and 5 hoping to get track position as I knew overtaking is hard .
Race 1
Got a great start got into St Devote in second place behind Marcel chased him for 4 laps and then was amazed to see him go fishing, got my head down and concentrated trying not to make any mistakes and let Bryan near me . my pitstop was a bit messy but it went OK and I didn’t get any penalties , I came out behind Bryan and was chasing him hard , I knew I would never be able to pass him so I had settled for 2nd place , when I saw him throw himself into the harbour I nearly crashed out myself through watching his accident , mega unlucky Bryan , the first win (and probably only win ) for Team Davit
Race 2
Oh boy was lady luck with me in this one , got a great start and had a decent lead for a few laps but I could see DJC steadily closing me down , I was hoping to hold him off until his pitstop so I was pushing as hard as I dared , we had both just lapped Gorka but then going into the chicane I over cooked it and spun so I was facing him , he hit me and rolled me and then Gorka arrived and piled in , that’s it I thought race over , but , when the car righted itself it felt ok , DJC had got going again but appeared to be damaged , I caught and passed him and couldn’t believe I was in the lead again , next lap going down the pit straight I hit unseen debris which threw me into a double 360 but I spun down the middle of the track and touched nothing , after that I pitted and watched Marcel and John go past and came out of pitstop in third place , I chased after them and watched John pit which gave me second , no way I was never going to catch Marcel so I drove for a finish .
Race 3
Lady Luck had had enough of me by this point , I had a reasonable start and survived the jockeying for position in turn 1 , Bryan and I were fighting for position and I think we changed places a couple of times , it was shaping up to be an intense fight , nipped round his outside at Leows and we both charged towards the chicane , unfortunately there was a crash on the chicane exit and I could’nt scrub the speed to avoid it , so I piled in and damaged the car , this meant a long pitstop 307 secs , I had fuelled to finish the race but forgot to knock of the fuel for the laps I would be in the pits so when I came out I was very heavy with fuel , the car handled like a dog and I lost it coming out of Casino and damaged it again , at that point I retired .
Monte Carlo is a hard track to race on if racing is the right word , I think its more a course in survival , I ended up doing far better than I envisaged and had a lot of luck , but , it was fun .
Big thanks as always to Bryan and Paul for setting it up and well done to all who were brave enough to turn up , but thank god we don’t have to go there again .

DjC, No transparent trainer, I've never even try it.
I was about for a clean install later today, but if Neela is having the same problems with a fresh install maybe that won't fix it.

Well for my first race it was a lot of fun. My neck got very tired since I race with my whole body. I have an Obutto seat but the chair back does not support my head. I also had a problem with my braking. Since you have to use the brake so much and the brake spring on my G-27 wheel is strong, I switch the braking to the clutch and had to remember to hit the clutch for the brake. since I am 71 years young and my memory is so bad, to give an example when I go to the bath room, I sit down because I can't remember what I am going to do.
Anyway I had great fun and am ready to pratice for the next race as soon as I find out what it is.
Thanks for the setups, it really helps when I don't know how to setup a car yet.
Y'all are a great bunch to race with.

Tom your memory cant be that bad you did a great job at Monaco and stayed on track so you remembered all the braking points which is more than i did , next race is Lime rock park and the server will be up for practice until the race weekend

At last made some consistent clean laps and felt reasonably secure to finish.
My lap times were decently slow as always, curiously my fastest ones, were those that felt slower than the others, so obvious conclusion was to find a rythm and stick to it.
race 1
3 min before start of race I pushed wrong button, rf2 refused to fill screen, had to reboot, seconds passed slowly...and I found myself unable to join.
I had some fun time watching, then I picked some wood for the fireplace, mixed a fine tomato juice with tabasco and I was back in time to enjoy last laps, team leader was leading
, then he plunged into the harbour in last chicane , then he dissapeared afk (we could hear from Greece doors slamming at his house, cats yelling etc.)race 2
at last some racing.
Not unenventfull though, big pillups, even usually conservative Vittorio was in one pileup,managed to escape most, slight damage on wheel but it was drivable, so I went to my scheduled pitstop at 7nth lap and went out to drive cooly for the remainer, so I could watch Neelas tricycle lol.
At some point I was chased by a young hotblood named Tom, couldnt get away, he was all over me everywhere.
Since there were 4(?) laps to the finish and even if I let him by I would still be inside some good points, I thought, so what, I let him by after Casino, he furiously got on it, I followed close, he was going good but then he couldnt decide which way entrance of chicane was, left or right, he chose right

Third race
Almost same as second, I picked up my rythm, didnt make silly mistakes and finished again with some good points as did Neela.
All in all a very enjoyable race for me, reminded me of many IRL Monacos Ive watched, if you try to pass without permission, you are heading for the barriers.
Notable moments, John's and Vittorios performance, how was the champagne guys?
Also Toms first appearence at our races, top job Tom!
