It gives me great pleasure to announce our next season.

We will use Lola_T280.rfcmp or V1.4

Our first race will be at Brianza on the 15th February so you have two weeks to practice.

There is a server up with the Lola's at Brianza for everybody to get some practice on. Please take the time to have a look at propsed track list http://Here and give your input and any comments you may have.

This season will be run by more than just me with thanks to all the people that have voluteered to assist with the running of admin duties that many of you dont see in the background.

*On the Website homepage go to League Site and sign up.

*Along the top tab go to Drivers.

*In the drop down menu go to Edit Data.

*Go to Seasons.

*Choose the season you wish to race in e.g. SR4L Season 5 Lola

*Edit that season with your car number and real name.

At the "internal meeting" (everybody is free to join and participate whenever we meet on teamspeak) it was proposed this year we do single 1h races instead of the classic 2 30min races, second race grid reversed. Also it was proposed to have day-night-day transition as in endurance races.

I like this proposal. Are we finally doint it?

Please Gorka, could you add the one shorter sprint race plus another longer race (15+45 or so) choice to the poll?
Someone suggested that somewhere and I like that idea.

Another idea I've always liked is trying to use real weather (not rain as it is not properly implemented yet). My idea is to have access to server setting and set server clouds, winds and temperatures according to the real weather forectasts for that circuit. That's something I could take care of (though it'd require having access to server settings).

I think that weather is still WIP in RFactor2, if you remember we had a fun race with weather in Monza, it was simply undrivable.

I remember, completely undriveable in the rain.

My idea is just to set clouds, winds and temperatures according to real location's forecast. All races would be dry, no rain at all.

Thats no problem, it can be easily arranged.

Weather can be set for each race quite easily, will just need someone to do a weather forecast at least 2 hours before the server is set (Usually 17:25 GMT).
