2nd Test Race -Sunday 3rd March - Longford

The second League test race will take place at Longford - it has good opportunities for drafting and has some big, BIG stops to check the brakes.

Temperature is warmer than normal - please report any cooling issues.

Sunday 3rd March - usual format, times etc. c. 18 laps

I think the consensus is that the cars are good to go - we could spend some time finessing the pit stop / fuel consumption timings to try and make refuelling properly strategic - but for 45 minute races it would probably not be worth the testing effort.

Provisionally, we’re looking at maybe starting a fresh Sunday league from the Sunday after Easter as that will avoid clock changes and family commitments. The cars seem to work well over a wider range of tracks than first anticipated - we’ll have a think about whether that will allow us to maybe run a slightly longer league with maybe some dropped-score provisions to encourage those that either can’t make all the dates or have bad luck!

Right - we'll try to finalise a list of tracks for the League with the aim of starting a week on Sunday (one weekend after Easter) if possible.
