#1
[Image: 16ma1h.jpg]

Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 6 of our Historic's League.
This season we take back historic open wheelers and we will drive a very well balanced car that will bring great close racing, the Eve F2.
This fifth event will take place in Essington and will be splitted in two 30 min races. Having the second race reversed grid for the top ten finishers of the first race.
After racing several classic tracks we go to a modern type track. Technical and very joyfull Essington will bring lots of close racing action.

SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

Haha wow 3ºC that's not very comfortable! And wind speed 18 km/h from North? Best I bring my winter racing suit and gloves..

Unfortunately I have to go to work on Sunday evening but probably I can make it to the first race if there is no delay. This is not good for my championship because I'll miss both races at Spa when I'm in Australia :-[ But hopefully I still have a good chance if I make to the last races, because after all DJ missed Road America. It's gonna be a tight one, again 8)

Enjoy Australia, that is what's important in life.
Look for Brian in the cricket fields and bring him back to racing too.

By the way, for people who may not know it, wheater forecasts are taken from real forecasts except for the rain (the moment rFactor2 gets improved in that we'll think about racing in wet conditions)

Hi guys!

After more than half a year, I am back behind my wheel. I got my PC and rf2 running again. Now I am trying to get rid of the rust and to become familiar with the F2 cars (which are awesome!). Yesterday, I joined the SR4L server to improve my lap times and to gain . I am quite confident to catch up soon to a level at which I should not be considered as a moving obstacle.

Once I am more familiar with the mod, I would like to join the races again. Is the league still open for new entries? Do I have to register somewhere in order to do so?

Really looking forward to race with you again!

I too would like to know if I need to register somewhere for that league? Also, the Live Timing button is a dead link...is there a way to see what times drivers have done on the server, please?

Hi fellows. No need to register, just come online and race with us. Thanks to Christoph's software and Jerry's help your names and results will get registered in the league.

Back after a 10km run under the rain, that felt good ;D.
Not as good as practicing this morning, not able to improve high 48s-low 49s offline :-[.

Nice. Smile
I just hope I can get used to the low temperatures on race day...the weather on the practice server is nothing like that weather forecast.

I have also practiced in default temperatures. But sometimes Paul is so busy he doesn't get the time to reconfig the weather, so don't worry much about that. hot or cold it will be the same (difficult) for everybody. Wink

I understand that it's the same for everyone of course, I just don't want to be the guy who joins his first race at a new place and gets a bad reputation immediately! Tongue
Don't worry though, I'll do my utmost to avoid causing incidents. Meanwhile I'll set the temperature at 4 degrees in SP and do some running Smile

Don't know if it's the cold temperatures, but I've just practiced online and I'm a second slower than last practice.

Thx guys! Great racing at SR4L!!
I enjoyed my comeback and was quite satisfied with P9 after qualifying. P6 in RACE 1 made me really happy. Especially since I had to fight for position until the chequered flag. RACE 2 showed me that I am still lacking race experience. I had a spin on my own in the last corner of lap1. My bad! Even worse, I took someone out with my. Sorry for that, no intention at all. Next time I will be better prepared so that I wont hurt others by avoiding situations like that.

Great to be back.
CU soon!
