Don't get me wrong... not complaining about the admin. You guys do a great job! Wouldn't expect you to wait. Just mad at the game. Must be like Ron said, just a rare burp in the complicated IT conglomeration that allows us to race together.

Round 8 - Zandvoort

My system booted up whacky about an hour before qualy. Just incredibly weird steering and car response. Discovered that all sorts of driving "aids" were somehow enabled. Was there some kind of rF2 update done? Lost all the practice time I hoped to have. Then at the start of qualy I suddenly had NO force feedback! At that point I gave up in frustration. That made 2 missed races due to computer glitches. Oh well, it only cost me some fun.

To Myles I want to say that I enjoyed the series and thanks for running it. Both Wed and Sun. It was definitely out of my comfort zone and took a while to adjust to the big heavy cars but quite fun once I got a feel for them. Thanks to some kind setup help from a few of you fast boys I had some fun mid-pack racing and a lucky P2 at Indy!

That’s a shame. The FFB dropout has been around for years - I tend to get it if quitting from the track and then rejoining almost immediately - I have a button on my wheel to do the FFB reset as it’s so common for me.

Glad you enjoyed the series - as Jonathan said in the Wednesday thread - the cars aren’t necessarily ‘the best’ but they’ve generated some close racing and have taken us a little out of the comfort zone.
Cool

Gosh... you just reminded me that I too have a button for that!! Set it up years ago. I've never needed it before and so forgot it was there!! Rolleyes Doh!!

You jumped out of the game to quick, I was typing to you with that same fix :p .
It is also good advice to keep backup copies of both your Player.JSON and your Controller.JSON files in case rFactor ever messes them up like they did for you.

It was low numbers for this last race. It was a 2 horse race at the front with me and Dave Coyne. We were a bit quick.

Thank you to Myles for setting up and running the league. The league would be dead without you.
