Though I had practiced the minimun for the event I found that the setup I used when we raced in Sebring worked really well here, so I only had to change the gears and forget about setting up the car.
Qualy
-------
Everything went better than expected. After DjC did a 2.00.9 in practice I thought that would be too far to reach. But during qualifying I found the car was lapping pretty well in little fuel allowing me to take more risks and reaching a 2.00.6 getting pole position.
Race1
-------
Clean start at the front and getting enough distance with DjC to prevent him taking my slipstream. Things were going quite well until at lap 5 at the Long bridge my car lost a bit of stability at the bump and lost the line at the next corner kissing the fence enought for a big crash. Car got big damages in suspensions, losing the rear wing and having all sort of trouble trying to get back in track (those white poles getting under the car...) so decided to retire in such damage and embarrasment.
Race 2
---------
Starting 10th behind DjC, David Coyne in 9th got a massive wheelspin and lost some speed. For a moment I found myself being in the middle of a David left-David right sandwich so I backed off to the left to avoid a crash in this narrow roads. Approaching the first corners thing went well and clean through there. Going carefull watching the cars ahead until after the Long Bridge someone lost it there and avoiding him I gave a little push to the tail of the car ahead (Juraj?) who took a walk on the grass, sorry.
Laps went by as we overtook some more cars and quickly I was in second position behind DjC. At the end of lap 5 I took my pitstop. Thanks to a quick stop (24sec) and new fresher tires pushing hard in the outlap, when I crossed the finish line using Rick's draft I found DjC coming out of his pitstop still at a lower speed. I took the lead there and kept it to the end, great taste.

Qauli- managed a pb 202.5 for 4th -i was pleased
Race 1 - Jerry got the jump on me at the start and then made an early pit. i took 30 seconds in pits- too long -and came out just behind jerry after my pit- i was catching but made a late mistake and had to settle for 4th -
Race 2 - started in traffic and got bogged down a bit-missed an early brake mark and caused a crash-sorry- made some errors but emerged from pit stops ahead of jerry- after the bridge i touched the right side sand - thought i was ok -the car was straight- i tried to coast out of it -but then like a catapult was shot across the track and into the fence, finished with a damaged car
all in all a good event but i prefer the longer races ....

For the next season with the F2 we can poll what length of races we want for the league.
