Choppy FPS aside, we had lots of fun practising for the event. Nice for once to drive with humans at this track.
Ric, just too fast. No stopping the guy.

Gorka said he fell down a hole? Oh my lol Big Grin

Thanks for hosting MW.

Great lag and stuttering when I entered track. Crashed multiple times on my way into the first town. I was thinking about giving up but I continued and hoped that it would get better. And it did. After a while I had passed a few drivers and I think many others had left race/server. I had some stutter through the whole race but the second part was quite playable. Robert's computer couldn't handle it at all (hd4850 500gb) so he gave up after a few corners.

I had not expected to win this race after all mistakes, because I was thinking that the drivers ahead did not have the same lag as we had at the back of the field. But there were barely no drivers left when I finished and I wonder where did they go?

Anyway it was a great idea and it could had been awesome without the lag. Thanks for hosting Marcel. Good job. Track ruined it Tongue

Looking forward to more fun races. Like Le Mans with driver swap. Anyone?

It was funny but sad for the way it ended. After 3-4 minutes the sudden fps drop appeared until several drivers left, probably because they couldn't even drive.
After the fps went back to normal I was driving quite concentrated, really having fun as the car felt better with the latest adjustments to bring better front grip at slow corners. Overtook several drivers and I was leading the pack when at the second town I was wide at a lefthander. Avoided the houses but going back to the track I fell through some hole between the houses, so I was left back to pits and it all ended.
Great experience anyway.

Lol. I have watched the replay. You can't join the track from there because there's a huge wall in the way. You're looking right through it because it is single face. What a shame :-\

Yes, houses are invisible through the back :o

This type of qualifying system could be used for special events, as they did in F1 at mid 2000s

[big]BIG[/big] yes for me seems fun. and imho we could match up a fast driver with a gentelman driver just for keeping both sides of the pack interested. in the mean while the gentleman drivers amongst us can learn a lot from the pro's 8)
