just thinking - jimmy C..
when you came into serve your stop and go, you had to wait on a car who was having a Pitstop right? if so, maybe somehow that made the game think you was getting pit service and didn't recognize your stop and go? did you get a countdown? 10, 9 etc?

I got no countdown, nor service, which is why I left (someone else was also waiting for that pit stall) and tried again the next time around, when I got fuel service which I didn't need, but no countdown for a stop and go. Oh, well. Just one of those quirks of sim racing.

ahh, there in lies the rub - I think. :o
I don't think you can serve a penalty and get service of any kind. I did that once and got DQ'd. you have to come into the pits unrequested, which should give you your arrow and your countdown. try it in practice - suggest at lime rock cause spa is too darn long ;D
good luck --- jer

I've never requested a pit stop. I just pull in and hope my wife will put down her beer and change the tires.
