Can you check Steve Combey Paul?
He participated in both races and he finished in second at 6th place ahead of me I think.

Thanks
BTW John Cook is in the NART team along with Mel Fisk from the start, John's points should be added to the team.

Hi all,
My report:
First race:
Good start, avoided two incidents in T1. That made me gain 3 or 4 positions. First stint was good, between Cook and Mel, Cook was too fast for me and Mel has my same pace. Perfect pit stop almost caught Cook in the pit exit. Good 2nd stint, no incidents. 6th!
Second race:
Perfect start until I we reach the big "parabolic" turn. I took there a big risk getting too close to the driver in front, touch his rear right wheel, upset my car, spin, grass, tried to avoid the wall and re-enter the track without control taking DJ with me.
I am really sorry I ruin your race DJ.
I did not enter the track on purpose, I just tried not to hit the wall and the slide align my car with the track again, didn't hit the brakes because I thought that would have had even more uncontrollable effects, I hit you but I could have hit the whole group. You never now.
It was my fault in first place and I truly apologize but after my first spin I was not in control, I did not re-enter the track by myself.
What was my decision and mistake was that when I felt the car aligned with track I didn't want to perform any additional input to the wheel or brakes to upset again the car, I was still on grass.
I am sorry :-\

I went out early and set a low 46 , whilst watching the others i decided to try yet another setup change and softened the front , wow this really altered the car and my lap time was down to mid 45s and netted me 3rd
Race 1
Got a good start and gained 2nd , DJ was all over me like a rash , i managed to hold him back for a lap or so but then he got into his rythm and passed me and proceded to pull away . We had pulled away from the next group led by Cookie so i thought i was now in for a lonely race, then i came across DJ who had gone off and i was back to 2nd , pitted on lap 12 (47sec) and came out behind DJ , tried to catch him but he was too fast for me , finished 3rd
Race 2
Started carefully and tucked in behind Christof , made turn 1 ok without drama , going into turn 2 i was lining Christof up for the exit and was alongside his rear wheel, his car stepped out and hit my front which pushed me into Richard who had appeared alongside me , i t boned Richard and we both went off into the barrier i then bounced off him and slid across the grass back onto the track taking out Giorgio , sorry G i was a passenger i couldnt stop or steer the car .
I got going again and was amazed that i had no damage, the car was fine . Going around the long right hander i passed underneath DJs aerobatic display and started to chase down those in front , passed a few guys and then came up to Tim , he was driving very well and i thought i was going to have a battle to get past him , he appeared to pull over to let me past but lost it on the grass (you didnt have to do that Tim it was up to me to pass you) after that my race went smoothly and i finished 2nd
Great racing all that was an exciting and fun event.
Thnx Paul / Nikos you put on a great event
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

qauli- i got into the 45's and got my best place yet on grid 1 - 4th
race 1 - i just kept 4th the whole race and re emerged from the pit stops in 4th - uneventful-
race 2 - i got a blazing start , got together with mel- (sorry) at the bottom of the hill but only he went off- thought i was past him but our wheels touched at the apex -. after that i lost it trying not to run into the rear of tim in the esses - did a quick pit re emerged way down the field, and went on to make it back to 6th behind nikos- i was much faster but lost it twice trying to effect a pass - by the time i got by there was not enough time left to catch edwin but a nice 5th - my best finishes yet
was fun ....

Don't bother Paul, RF2 is never wrong ;D
Really enjoyed the BT20 at Essington with you guys, I dropped in server in week and was surprised to run quite well in the BT20, I always struggled with that Eve. But back then I was in nose cam, now I use cockpit and its been the best thing I ever did, really enjoy it and drive better this way although I was a true cockpit view hater before it clicked.
Q Was good, 5th! A step ahead of last seasons performances.
R1 A good start, but I am on the outside into t1 so I am looking out for risks, Edwin got took out and he took me with him there was nothing that could be done by either of us, and I am damaged immediately Another spin and more damage before too long, and into limp home mode. Towards the end the car was so damaged I nearly had to Esc out it was dangerous, Robert/Rickard Hedlund was 60 seconds down with 3 laps to go I wanted to try and save that place but not even that was possible, was pretty much having to park it to let traffic thru. A bad result.
R2 Decent start again and I am underway without incident, after a while I have a Red car in my mirrors and it's Rikard Hedlund so I was expecting him to make pass before long. No threats materialised at all, and I am thinking this is pretty good! I am running OK, Rickard behind and he is not even trying to pass! I was impressed, Rickard was being so careful to come through the traffic, but then I see RF2 the game that is never wrong was wrong, the names changed around and I see all the time it was Nikos not Rickard the whole time and then I know I have been snoozing! ;D ;D
I god damn went off after a lap or 2, t3, almost kept it on. Then a comedy recovery, spun it on the grass 6 times or something then hit wall, took about 10 minutes to recover from a simple spin, I do not even wan;t to talk about it :-[ It was very costly, messed up my prospects.
A bump with Jesus later on going into Esses, I had been looking to pull a move for a couple of laps and now the time is good, I go for it, I think we both expected the other to give it up and neither of us did and neither of us was required to either, fortunately we both keep going with little set back I think, a racing incident I would say.
6th in the end I think, better than R1 for sure.
I think I got in Ricky Keenes way a bit during the comedy during the comedy rejoin I mentioned, I had plenty of time before Ricky was due to arrive but the damn car would not go! Then I realise I am stuck 3rd not 1st ;D :
Thanks Paul, Nikos DJ, everybody, an enjoyable event.

Once again I joined server less than 1 hour before race start, and without practice.. This time I was not so lucky with my setup. I tried my Zolder setup but with longer gears but it didn't work very well.. It felt too soft and understeery. With a few small changes it felt somewhat good, but far from perfect. Qualify turned out to be a close one, with DJ only 0.087 seconds behind (IIRC)! But once again enough for pole
RACE 1
DC and DJ were fighting each other and I took advantage of that. When DJ finally had his 2nd place again I had comfortable gap. I don't know if he was closing in but sometimes it felt like he did... Anyway he suddenly lost a lot of time but I don't know why. I got a really slow stop (52 sec) and was worried that DJ would be breathing down my neck but he was gone. So my second stint was really comfortable
RACE 2
I think Paul confused me with Robert, and placed me 15th on the grid while Robert started from my 10th...lol. But it worked out well anyway. I was careful through the first corners and I saw Robert crash out as a result of contact with DC (I think). Next corner I saw two cars flying in the air and it was a really scary moment even though I was laughing at the same time because it looked funny.. but made it through... I saw that one of the cars was DJ's. From that moment I knew my main rivals were both out of the race already...more or less. Not so much fun, but at least I could relax while making my way to the top. Edwin was leading the race and had a really good pace, but after a while I managed to get past him, and was leading the race from there to finish, without any troubles.
I'll try to practice before next event! See you there guys.
Thanks for hosting.

Didn't practice at all for this event, due to other concurrent races
Made a decent quali lap (1:47.0) that placed me 8th. I could get at least half a second down, but spun out in the grass in two consecutive tries, so there was no time left for a 3rd one.
Race 1: started badly: when David Hart hit the wall in T1, his car bounced back and shunted me gently towards the grass on the opposite side, losing a couple of positions. Was this R2? Maybe. Anyway, a couple of errors on my part and I was 13th. Quickly back to 10th, but after a few laps I lost connection...
Race 2: started 14th or so. Not many hopes, but then... flying cars, multiple crashes and I was 9th already half a lap after the start. A small mistake in third sector and I went back one or two positions. From there on, I just locked on a good pace and did lap after lap, passing crashed opponents until I found myself in 6th, then 5th passing Nikos I believe before pitting. Coming in the pits, I had Edwin ahead of me, pitting too. He left the pits around 10 seconds before me, and was around 15s ahead after we restarted with me in 4th or 5th, I don't remember.
What I remember well is that I was hardly able to gain time on him. Ed, you had a good pace
Then suddenly, I'm in 3rd. Edwin must have had a drive-through for speeding in pits. He came out of pits 5s behind me.
Perfect time to do stupid errors, but no, I kept cool and managed to bring home my first podium ever for Alfa Corse and in SR4L league races! Yay!

Have anyone tried these replays? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but when I watch race 2 replay, all cars are standing still in their garages ???
EDIT: the replay file is called "Essington Park P1 2", so maybe it's simply the wrong replay file, from the practice session after the race when track was reloaded?
