Legents League www.legends-league.com informed us they are starting on Sunday 8th February 2015 a bi weekly championship with F1 ASR '92 mod.
Our member hardtohandle, SteveC at Legents site, is curently admin at RF2 races.
Steve pointed out to us that they want to avoid collision of their dates with ours at our next season, and we have taken notice of this as their timetable is similar to ours.

How about SR4L and LL join and bring together a full grid with the F1 1992s?

They will advertise our championship there.
In the end there will be the choice to enter two championships.
I dont see a drawback in this and I dont see the need to do anything more.

I agree, lets not force anyone into anything. Let the individual choose if they have the time for both leagues.

Hi guys, long time no see. As Nikos says for my sins I am now admin at Legends League. I had the idea to avoid our races clashing as we are both bi-weekly, same time slot, and most crucially we both lean heavily towards running open wheelers so running on alternate weeks made perfect sense.
Thanks very much for your interest Nikos and preparedness to work together.
Since I contacted Nikos and Paul about this by PM some time ago, something has changed in fact which may or may not interest you all.
SR4L is very fortunate - you are one of the very few groups who can get a decent grid together on RF2. I and others felt the RF2 community was full of many small outfits all struggling to get more than 10 drivers on the grid so we decided to start this 'inter league' experiment on the gap week between our own bi-weekly races. It's worked out pretty good to be honest, we got together with Fun2Race and SpeedRacin.com and have now run the Megane, Spark F2 and 370Z (twice) next one is Celica GTO next Sunday. The races have gone really good with good drivers who practice, it not full of dropins - we boot them if they drop in with only 2 mins to go etc. It's been as good as a private league yet with an open server! The plan is at some point to actually do a proper point scoring inter-league championship, we have not got to that stage yet. So we would agree a common scoring system/server setting etc, and all can post the results on our respective websites.
I actually had the idea invite SR4L to this experiment right at the start in fact, the only reason I did not is because you guys have a disproportionately larger amount of drivers than the rest of us which is not an issue, but I did not want it to appear you was being invited in order to fill the grid up, which it may of.
So now things are slightly different, in that there is a clash either way, as the interleague thing is same bi-weekly time slot, so you have the choice of some kind of partner ship with Legends League as I see mentioned above, or with the interleague thing the choice is yours! You must do what is best for you. I guess it depends largely on the mod which gets run for the inter-league thing, well nothing is decided but the 2 main candidate so far are the Celica GTO or the Eve/Spark F2. If it was the F2 that could be interesting for you guys I think. If you would prefer the F1 '92 I know Legends would be very happy and willing to pursue such a partership also.
The really important thing with any kind of cooperation is that people go into it with the corrrect spirit, which is simply to get something cool happening on RF2 for mutual benefits, not to pursue any kind of self interest, that is something which comes as standard with Legends League / Fun2Race / SpeedRacin and I know due to my prior experience here everything will be cool with SR4L too so there will no problem here I know that.
Certainly interesting things can come of this, and we can all carry on our independent operations unaffected on tthe alternate weeks, we just need to stagger the weeks appropriately.
I will dust off my BT20 and drop in your server if I see some of you in there, or you can drop in the Fun2Race teamspeak to discuss any time you like we are often in there weekday nights.
Thanks again to Nikos for showing this initiative, RF2 is the best sim but has rather limited number of players, getting a full grid of like minded drivers together for a series is not so straightforward as it should be!

Thanks for letting us know Steve.
But, I personally have trouble understanding the actual proposition (if there is one).
Im not native English so I would like it more clear, what are the options atm if you are asking us to join the situation?
And more importand, what is the situation?
At your site I see you are running races randomly, no championship, do I understand well?
These races you run them with the other Leagues?
Do you change admins and server each time?
Does SR4L joining you means it has to abandon its own championship?
I think these must be made more clear from you so our members here (and me lol) can make up their mind about the situation.

No haha. For us at legends, we have a legends only event every 2 weeks, and an inter league event every 2 weeks on Sun 1900gmt. So we race every Sunday alternating a week on/off our own league and the separate multi league thing. At moment we are having warmup races, then will have a F1'92 league start in a few weeks. The off week, when we do the inter league races, is also co-incidentally fun races as this is a new thing we tried, and the plan is in future to have a multi league type championship there together too which is totally separate from our own league.
Always since we had this idea we held open the possibility that other leagues may also join, it is not fixed to 3 parties it could be 4. So if you wanted to join in on this you can, and in that case we should actually make our own independent league races clash then, we race f192 and you do your thing the same week, then we can race together on the alternate week and it affects nothing. If you are not interested in the interleague thing then we would be better to stagger our own leagues on alternate weeks.
Sorry for any confusion!
This thread caught me by surprise earlier and I just skimmed over the details as I was short of time. I can speak with u in TS tomorrow or wkend if you like and explain it all, there is not too much to explain it is very simple. Me, Ari Antero (fun2race) and STATIC (Speedracin) are the main guys doing this, I will tell you how it come together and what we could do. Certain so long as we a both racing biweekly this can affect nothing of our own operations, but members who are interested in Racing every sunday rather than every 2 sundays could participate in both.

So you are not in favour of having our championship and on alternate weekends have an Interleague championship.

Ok, lets see what we have exactly here:
1. We stay as we are, we have our championship every two weeks and maybe fun races in between.
2. Fix our schedule so we have our championship every two weeks and whoever wants, follow Legends League's ASR F1 '92championship in between.
3.Fix our schedule so we have our championship every two weeks and whoever wants, follow Interleague championship in between.
From above, cookie prefers 2, I prefer 3 as it meens imho expanding our League, meeting new people and cooperating with a bigger crowd than now.
But that is just my personal opinion.

This for me as I think it is a great initiative as I also think everyone trying to do his own thing isn't beneficial for rf2 (and the respective leagues) with its limited user-numbers atm. I can understand why one wants to run his own league though.
Also I like to get to know more racers out there, what I've seen from the rf2 community so far there is a high quality regarding racing etiquette among the racers and there are for sure a lot of great racers out there I have't had the pleasure to race yet

I meant do #3 except with the 92 f1's not the fun races they have - interleague 92's on alternate weekends from our lola's has the same effect to expand just with a more fun car that was second in the voting for our own season - best of both worlds

Please explain more about what you think.
We either do Interleague championship, whatever that is, or Legends League ASR F1 '92 in between our championship, we cant do both.
In Interleague situation we race with 3 Leagues, in Legends League we race just with Leagues.
Actually either way anyone is free to do as he pleases but it would be nice if we could all go same direction.

The only option for me to also race a different league on the "non SR4L league" weekends is if they raced the same track. Not that much time to fully practice a different car in a different track.

@Cookie: John if i get it right you would like to race the F1 92 right?
Legends league is running a championship with them and they want to do it in the weekends when SR4L hasn't got a league race. Their interleague races (with fun2race and Speedracing.com) are in the other weekends in between. I did a race with them (interleague) running Z370's and it had a great turnout ~25 at the grid.
The interleague races are NOT F1 92's
So we have the choice to run our own races (championship) in the weeks off from the legends races (f1 92) or we could have our races in the same weekend as legends and people who want could join the interleague races in the off weekends.
My vote would be the second option......or have our own fun races but in all honesty i have to say i don't think they will ever happen again. Even not sure about the new championship. I know Paul is busy and i also know Nikos is doing his utter best to keep things going but come on guys there have been several people offering their help to Paul (me included) but i never heard anything. I think it's the same with Gorka.
If there isn't going to be some change very soon i think SR4L is going to die on us, and don't get me wrong but that hurts because we are a great community.
Sorry for the OT and rant.
Hope to see some news about the future from the admins.
Cheers Edwin

whatever the case may be .... if we run the lola on opposite weekends to the f192- i will do both - otherwise i will have to make a choice - by doing this we could have some of our drivers able to race f1 92 and the lola ...i can do a race a week on different racks easily
i did the last 4 races at LL....2- 92 f1, 2- 370z - all 1 hour races with large grids - but i am more excited about the F 1 92's
