This time we race the Honda NSX at Mosport. The Honda NSX is a great easy driving car that will perfectly fit this track. Remember to tune this car to its max, brakes, engine, gears, tires....

Hello guys, I tried a few times to join races with you this season, but I can never get in server? 'Package not found', that means it cannot download the vmod I believe. I certainly get no vmod.

This started happening after I moved to steam, but this is the only server I have this problem with. No problems getting into other servers, weird.

I like the Matra and would have liked to have done the league. If anybody has any tips they would be much appreciated, I shall try and mount a comeback!

I think that 'Package not found' means that you dont have car and/or track, it happens to me too lately, but if you have those, vmod afaik downloads.

Anyway its something Paul perhaps could fix, lets wait till he's back from holidays.

Is there any chance your cars have been left in your old RFactor2 installation Packages folder?
Afaik Steam downloads only official ISI content so I had to copy Matra from there, to Steam/steamapps/Common/Rfactor/Packages and install mod again.

Problem seems to be in the Steam Matra files, you must use a file from Racedeparment or other source but NEVER the one from Steam workshop.

I had this same issue yesterday.

Originally got the Matra from Steam Workshop but got 'Package not found' error when trying to join server. So I unsubscribed and deleted the Matra, then downloaded from link provided in the Nord thread and was all good.

Seems the Steam version installs to 'Installed/Vehicles' but it needs to be a .rfcmp file in the 'Packages' folder for it to work.

I found out what this stupid 'Package not found' is. I was joining from the server list in RF2 launcher, and as stated I got NO vmod so basically your high and dry. No possibility to sort any issues.

If you go into Steam \ Store \ Server List and try and join the same server, it works differently! Getmod does not magically start working, but at least you get the vmod so I can then sort things out manually just like before with non-steam version of game. Heh! So I missed all these races just because of that. Funny old game this is.
