Nice find Ed.

I will try this on a couple of the servers and compare the difference

Also, I've calculated a pitstop should get you lose around 25 sec (including tire changing + pitlane time lost). I haven't done the math to calculate wether it's worth doing it or not.
gorgias1976 Wrote:About refueling, no refueling for this race, we will think about it for the next league event as I think it would be faster doing a pitstop refueling and changing tires than doing none.

Looking forward to the 1st race.
How will you police that no one refuels at their pitstop? Both tyres and fuel are done at same time, so pitstop length is same. I'm just thinking about people running a faster lighter car with half fuel.

That's why I didn't say how to make it work until we discussed it (though it's rather easy to).
Personally I will drive 92 liters with no pitstop strategy, I trust all our members will start with race fuel, too.

Surely this would show up in the lap times , no way can i hit low 26s with 90+ltrs onboard , but . to avoid any arguments maybe make refueling optional then its the same for everyone .
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

I've turned liver racers plugin off for server 3 to see if it helps with the freeze problem. I have also set damage to 50% for those that need the practice like me :o

I remember once being able to see how much fuel drivers used throughout a race and their strategy, so went and had a look and noticed there is a line in Results files named 'Client Fuel Visible' and found this after a quick search:

Hi all,

would it be an idea to reduce damage to 30%. Not so much an issue when you start at the front but in the middle of the pack it is quite likely to get hit and then the race is over and the training time is wasted.

Do you even lift?

It is unlikely that you get any damage in this track with so many escape places and in this car with so good brakes and handling Tobias if you drive sanely with the thought of not killing yourself and others around you.

Try this for once please.

I would like this too. It's not the walls, it's the other people on the track Big Grin. Hour race with no required pitstop your race is done for if one has a tangle. With the server having lag bubbles every so often is an other reason.

Sorry Hectari, that was removed some time ago. I double checked a xml file today.

I have had 6 race starts on this track, 4 of them I've been taken out on 1st corner.

Please be very aware that peripheral visibility in these cars is terrible! You can hardly see anyone to your side even when they are slightly ahead, you can only hear them.

Ah that sucks, it was an old results file I looked up to check :-[

Wonder why they'd remove that for server side as well as client side.

Yes i think this would be a good idea , looking at the practice attendance i think we may have a big field of drivers for this race

Hectari maybe you right, I was looking at MY xml files. Maybe the server xml files might show it or not with the option checked in the muliplayer, json file "Client Fuel Visible".

I really think that the real thing all around here is about restraint, control, focus and awareness, so, thats the issue on this game and the moment of the start is all about this. We expect that people will behave cautious and respectful at the start of an hour race, but sadly, not always happens. Raising damage % is a learning experience here. Just a thought.

I'm back SmileSmile New router did the trick.. An expensive one, but it was worth it.

Unfortunately I'm really slow and feel quite uncomfortable in the car at Interlagos..but most importantly, it works!

In solidarity with my team mate I second the motion to postpone due to Canadian Thanksgiving. As holidays go, Thanksgiving is a big one.

There are 2 cars to choose from, BT44B and BT44B test car. Are they different? Is one better?
