Great attendance again, SR4L is getting better and better, congratulations all.

Im not very proud of my performance today, I did a lot of mistakes, I visited grass a lot.

In the end, not too bad, Ill get some points to show to teamie Big Grin

Place your reports here all, it looked very fast at the top.

I was very disappointed with qualifying did my best time ever and only got a 13th place start boo hiss to me.

Race one was a good race I had some good fun and got up to 8 but Mel got by me and on last lap I tried a bold move and we touched and I am glad I was the only one hurt by it I lost a spot on the spin and got 10th.

Race two I started on pole but was overtaken right away and no one formed one line at all I got bumped a few times and I think Jerry got booted by an aggressive driver I was doing all right but had a dumb spin and fell to back> got lucky at end with a few cars having trouble Bad Luck Ricky right at end and I got 10th again good to have my bud back on track and he showed good form.

I think it was me who got stuck between Jerry's tires. I was on his right heading for turn 1. I saw him closing the line and aimed for the grass to avoid him, but even though that wasn't enough. Anyway a couple of laps later Rick didn't like me being side by side to him at the end of the backstraight and put an end to my race.

I could only Remember the "Rick....." at the HUD when driving. Anyway, it doesn't actually matter who, it just happened and it's already past.

very competitive and consistent racing for most. sorry for the incident with gorka
but its normally me being punted off the track (with three wheels left on my wagon).
felt like i should have finished higher in the standings some good racing with tim and john
but seemed to lose out at pitstop about 5 places in both races and was unable to recover
so anyway 14th and 12th going the right way points at least just need to keep improving.
(its the car behind who must overtake cleanly)

My first report here and first i 'd like to say how proud and excited i am to be part of this league!
All good drivers,competition is high!
A good and useful driving school!!
My first race all went well,finished 6th and had pressure from Jerry but did 0 mistakes and finished 10sec behind David!
Second race,same setup,same fuel but something went wrong!
Last lap,after long straight,had 0lt and lost a lot of places but managed to finish in neutral!
Dont know what happened and the consumption went higher but next races i will have more fuel than those estimated by the plugin.
Now looking for the next race,F2@Vir!

I remember passing you as you coasted to the finish line and saying thank you for the positon but I did wonder what had happened to you.

Hey Tim, in the 1st corner in the 2nd race you got hit a couple of times when you shifted into neutral and DJ hit you and then I hit him and he hit you again because of that. We were all so close together it was unexpected for you to almost stop so couldn't react fast enough to prevent it, no harm done I hope, small contacts don't seem to do any damage with whatever it's set to in the server.

Anyway, assuming you're shifting sequentially, if you bind neutral to a button or key in controls, the setting in controller.json(or really the controller file that you use, whatever you've called it) should already be set to protect you from shifting down to neutral from 1st. I had to bind neutral as it happened to me too and instead I select neutral by clicking both shifters at the same time, which is what I accidently did in race 2 on the back straight! I meant to look behind but I was looking at too many things at once and had a brain fart, still getting used to the buttons on my wheel.

This is what you should find in your controller file if it doesnt stop you shifting down into neutral from 1st after binding neutral:

"Stop Sequential if Neutral Configured":1,
"Stop Sequential if Neutral Configured#":"whether configuring neutral prevents sequential shifts into neutral from 1=1st, 2=reverse, 3=both, or 0=neither",

and this is to select neutral by clicking both paddles together:

"Alternate Neutral Activation":true,
"Alternate Neutral Activation#":"whether to select neutral if shift up & shift down are pressed simultaneously",

I wondered what happened to you , i thought maybe i had exhausted you and you had surrendered ;D
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

haha almost! I thought my engine was going to blow since I shifted back into 1st too soon, just glad I managed to get out of the way!

When I peeled off into the pits at the end of lap 4 I think, I wondered if anyone else would have the same idea to undercut the train in front of us, was cool to see how much time we made up compared to those pitting later. Every lap driving by the pits wondering where others will rejoin really adds to the thrill, especially when you end up with someone so close again.

Doing the undercut was the only way i could get past Marmagas , he was running a lot less wing than me so everytime i pulled out of his slipstream i just went backwards .
I enjoyed both races , both were tactical and intense , its nice to get up close and personal confident that you have the grip not to take people out
