If you can not see the setup in game you might need to toggle the 'Show Only Relevant' button. See screen shot. The reason for this is SpeedRacer7 might have been driving a skin from a different Car/Class group to you.

Please note all car skins/classes/years are all equal in this mod. Feel free to chose any. They are all the same.

Yep - got it this time. I wonder if I accidentally highlighted the file in the ZIp and deleted it!

Well, I’m currently topping the times! I have made a couple of minor tweaks to (more) suit my style but fundamentally, the setup is yours.

It took me a while to ‘get’ the push-through-understeer approach as I normally aim for a very pointy front end and just manage the oversteer.

I might try to set the car up from scratch myself at some point but as I can’t do Sunday nights, it might be a while…
Cool

first online race i took this week i couldn't start because of steam hick up, in second one the PC froze and now the wheel got disconnected. it probably means a wonderful next week Smile

great comeback, David! you said 'close racing', but you were only playing with me, teasing in each race with hope i could pull away.

see you guys in 'California' next Sunday!

My game crashed at the start of qually back to desktop and when I tried to restart it said the game wasn't installed so I had to reinstall and just didn't have enough time to set up controller so it was a washout for me. Also a few times when changing up a gear it went down a gear very strange not sure what to try to sort it any ideas would be appreciated Smile

Dan, my default advices would be to check the temperatures of your processor and graphics card (if it's overheating, blow compressed air through venting system or reapply thermo paste in worse case), switch controller to another USB slot, check device manager for any hardware conflicts, monitor task manager for any interfering processes. always start an important race with a clean boot, come to pre-race warm-up early and just try to be zen when hardware goes haywire.

rF2 (or any other racing sim) doesn't simulate mechanical failures too stringently (imho), so i interpret my hardware/software issues as real life car failures (which i can learn on). and if PC doesn't allow me to race safely anymore, i deem it as sponsor retreat due to something like a ban on tobacco advertisement or covid-19-induced recession. Thanks guys, it was fun.
Looks like JohnCook, Tobias, and MichelBougie were having a great battle in last race. Very gentleman racing. JohnC one tough cookie to overtake for the other 2 Smile.
I was miles in front. I was missing Speedracer7 to battle with, he never showed Sad. I ended up with 3 easy wins racing myself Big Grin.

Thanks for the running the show. Great car and track combo. Especially the tracks. A lot of fun. Sorry I couldn't join in.

Cheers,

apologies for missing the race. once again it would have been just a formality with no challenge from me to David. although my PB in practice looked competitive, there was zero consistency and rear tires would start burning in lap 6,. I feel ashamed to have chickened out in this unsportsmanlike way, but was in no shape for any battle. Sad ... congratulations and awe to the best man! .. and hope to race you guys again!
