Hello everyone, I'm a little lost with the time changes, do you know if the race is taking place at the same time as the real F1 Grand Prix?

The Mexican f1 race starts at 7pm and our race starts at 8 pm JP

How many tyres need to be changed at pitstop? As there is up to 9 seconds delay per tyre are you considering adjusting it? A random up to 36 seconds in a sprint race seems a bit off.

Hi Bumble. All 4 tyres changed. I did a test with pitting. I did at least 10 pits. I was getting pit times between 48 seconds and 55 seconds. Most of them about 50 seconds. What is your number 36 and what is off.
I'll be watching the recorded F1 highlights after the race.

According to car stat there is up to 9 seconds delay on a single change - so x4. 36 seconds is too much time to lose.
TireTime=(20.0,45.0,9.0,1.0) taken from BT24 .hdv - 9.0 is the random delay

You have 4 mechanics working on each tyre at the same time. They are working concurrently.
The perfect pitstop is 45 seconds if none of them make mistake. If 1 mechanic has a delay that costs him 9 seconds and the other 3 mechanics make no mistakes then the pit time will be 54 seconds (45+9). If All mechanics have each delay of 9 seconds on their tyre, then it will still be the same 54 second pitstop. It's not going to be 4 x 9 = 36 seconds extra. The times above are assuming there is no damage to fix too.

Hi, do you have to enter your team somewhere and can you make a livery for your car, or is everyone who is in the race just in the league?

Argh! My partner is away at a Christmas market thing in Europe later this month…
…but in an ‘off’ week for the championship - otherwise I’d have been able to race myself for once…
