try unsubscribe from steam-delete from packages-re subscribe
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

will try that. But I may be on to it. The track is actually installed but I think it wants me to install the other car too. That is the "mod" it looking for.

That was it. I'm in. But thanks for jumping in with the suggestion

Yep - I’ve touched on it before but the way SR4L is set up, it’s quite easy for version inconsistencies to crop up - it might sound tedious, but it’s easy(er) to spot and fix if people trip over it and report issues. Sounds lazy, I know,

Yes - we’re at Oukton park in just under 30 minutes…

An interesting evening…

Overall laptimes of the Datsun and Nissan did prove to be very close but the Nissan (in clean air) could really pull away on the straights. However - it chews through its grip quite early on - and as these cars seem to develop a reasonable tow, a Datsun can glue itself quite comfortably to the back bumper of a Nissan if it gets close enough!

OK - final week of the Datsun vs Nissan battle before a car change, methinks.

Taking them back to Mosport (CTMP). The Nissan will win the long uphill drag…

…but will the rear tyres last more than two laps before going off?:p

For the 17th November round, I think it’s time to change the car(s) again. Needs to be something reasonably accessible (I did think of the F1 Legends Lotus 49 - but I think it’s too much of a handful for the fun races) - but a bit faster than the Datsuns…

Good racing again tonight - the same tortoise-and-hare Datsun vs Nissan battlesCool

We’re going to try the MX-5s next in top spec form (supercharged, I think).

Track TBD but I’ve loaded Portimao with the T1 chicane for now. Final decision on Friday(ish).

It was fun last night.
One race I got flipped on my roof by PetrolHead.
The next race I did the same with him by mistake, oops Big Grin.
He was flipped like a pancake.
Some nice battles.

It was a good turnout, too, with a couple of waifs and strays (ok - just people I didn’t recognise) joining in. The later races had some cracking battles.

I think they’re worth a bit more exploration - I’ll try to get a track up tomorrow.

I’ll give it another go - I *have* tried it in the past and wasn’t overly taken by it - but I know a bunch of my old Caterham 7 associates use it IRL each year…

Right - this week we’ll give Rouen a go with the ‘74-‘94 layout. It’s pretty smooth and swoopy (as many of us know) and will hopefully suit the drafting - will a couple of big-stops to liven things up!

I’ll try Dijon soon…

Quite a few new names have recorded time on the Wed night fun server this week - hopefully we’ll get good grids again.

Remember - the car version was updated from V1.02 to 1.03at the weekend - if rf2 hangs during connection, you’ve probably not got the current car version (or may need to remove the old server-mod).

That was fun. Thanks for hosting Myles.
Think Jon was a magnet to the moveable tyre walls. He loved smashing through them o_O Big Grin.
CU all in next one.
