Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 3 of our Historic's League. This season we move up to the Historic F1's in what promises to be an action pack event. There's no way around it, it's a hard mod and with that comes massive challenges. One of them Finishing and being consistent will be the key to a good season. We see the return of the reverse grid race with this series and now with only two races per round it adds a lot more pressure on staying clean in those opening laps. Expect big thrills, big spills and lots of emotion to come out of this series.

SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

As you probably have noticed, David Cruickshank again made us a patch which allows us to have a staggered grid and a few more pitspots. Thanks a lot Dj, great contribution! Smile

When exiting pit, pls stay right for as long as there is the white line on the left. Because it's quite tight (but not impossible) to keep all four between the line and the barrier, you are allowed to cross the line with your left wheels.

Good luck and have fun Smile

When leaving pit in qualify session, is it allowed to cut the track to avoid the bankings section? I guess not, but I suspect some drivers want to do this because timed out lap only works first time. Next time you leave pits, you have to go around the bankings twice before starting a flying lap Tongue Maybe it should be clarified in the OP if that is the case Smile

Great mod by Mr Cruickshank btw... Thanks.

The situation as I know is:
When in practice you can avoid the bankings as you will have to do 1 and 1/2 lap before you start timing lap.
At Quali it is the opposite, you should do the bankings first, as timed lap starts just after that.

Yes, but IIRC this only works the first lap. If you retire to garage and go out again, you'll need to do this 1½ lap again Tongue

In previous season, in practice and qualify, we crossed the track so first corner would be Curva Grande, from what I recall...

Okay. So if it is done safely, there's no problem?

Yes, this is the best answer (almost). Does not matter practice or qually.
Very 1st time out of the pits, take the banking route, 1/2 lap later your lap starts at the line.
That only works once, a bug I don't know.
Every time out of the pits from then on, take the left route. You then need to do the full course + banking before your lap starts.

13 laps, lucky for some.

Unless disaster I'll be able to make it to the race, great.
No experience at all racing other people, a little bit of a drawback, hope not to cause any trouble and battle at the front.

Tonight's races I'll be using my old graphics card a 8800GT. I just can no longer trust my glitching 560ti. I have every setting on low or off and 1280x800 res. Wish me luck when I start on the grid with 20 FPS and laggy wheel :p.
