qualify- got a low 15 which put me behind DJ on the start -i think 4th place
Race 1 - At the start- DJ disappeared from in front of me, i hesitated then spun the tires- by that time about 4 cars had forced their way past turning me into a pinball- bouncing right into the wall then left into more cars- i got going again in 8th place - some aggressive driving and i made my way into 2nd behind coyne - 30 seconds ahead by that time - i managed to stay on course for my best finish to date-
Race 2 - started 9th - Coyne got by me at the start but i could not slow enough and got into the back of him going into eu rouge , we both left the track on the escape rd and lost a few places- sorry David- i caused that one - later in the next lap i left the track on the straight after stavelot -hit the embankment- flew through the air and hit a radio tower- landed in the feld with the engine running sans the right rear wheel- i joined a group of 3 cars hobbling slowly back to the pits - surprisingly my pit was only 60 seconds - i dont think Coyne, who was one of the three hobbling to the pits, was so lucky and retired. After the pit - my car was still damaged - i could not get it over 195 mph - but i held on to the end and manged a 7th place Finish - yay-
i think this all amounted to some good points - useful in keeping the fast fellas honest - a couple no shows mean they will have to stay sharp !!
my only post comment is that in my view we have some things to work on - like driver etiquette on the track - and cut out the damn chat - i blew a hotlap in Q because of a chat this race - i hope it stops - people have been warned.
omg - edit - i just moved to second place in the standings - happy anniversary- :o ;D ???
