I would like this too. It's not the walls, it's the other people on the track . Hour race with no required pitstop your race is done for if one has a tangle. With the server having lag bubbles every so often is an other reason.

I remember once being able to see how much fuel drivers used throughout a race and their strategy, so went and had a look and noticed there is a line in Results files named 'Client Fuel Visible' and found this after a quick search:
