Classic F2 League - Round 7 - Sebring - Reports
#3
quali

with few little errors i manage to get pole position..great time John C Wink you manage to separate tecno party at front Smile matra,tecno,tecno,tecno,matra(YOU),tecno.. Smile

race1

got good start, but had few errors first few laps so could not make gap from cars behind.then cars behind got in contact and from then i got 9 sec lead, till the end of race i manage to keep car on track.

race2

little bad start from me and then first corner destruction Smile (Dan B & Jonh C) got involved and crash party begun.i almost avoided the crash but in spinning DC touched my rears and spun me out.then again i got contact from behind and my car stalled so i ended 16th.
my rear suspension was damaged so i went to early pits.i saw few guys had to pits to..
i went out and got behind Cook, after few laps i manage to pass him.then i got Dan B in same way few laps later.
few laps left i manage to decrease gap to Dan M,and at last lap i miss the apex on the corner before long straight so i was little far for slipstream.so he managed to stay in front Smile WD Dan for podium
i ended 4th what is not bad at all after early pit stop & damaged car Smile

WD ALL!!

little info about cars Smile
i see some of you driving Tecno(Spark) complain about Tecno being way slower car then Matra(Eve).

dont know where you getting that from!?if you know something more please share it with me Smile
what i knowConfusedame engine,weight,gears,tires...at the beginning of the season i even drove both cars to make comparison on Liveracers, for people(and myself) to see difference in lap times and speeds(MF2 vs SF2 & MF2b vs SF2b).
and my times was allways very, very close with both cars..
so what time i did with MF2b i did with SF2b with little difference, sometimes one car was little better and vice versa..

sure i put more practice with Matra because i drove that car in league so i put more time in setup, ending little faster than Tecno..

those skeptical can easy check files from cars and see difference in cars.just unpack mas files and you can easy check Smile
only bigger difference i know is wheelbase,WheelTrackRange.and really small difference is in body drag.
if you chose wing version, same applies but again very little difference in front wing & rear wing aero drag.
so it is possible winged Matra is little quicker on straight, but not way to faster.but again Tecno have corner speed if we look like that..
but if you are in slipstream both car have same advantage..depends on your corner exit speed if you gonna be quicker then other car(so car setup have big effect on this)probably you all know that..

btw those cars are same like ISI original version just with flex..i remember when i was driving on F3 Rookies with Spark on monza & spa,Durge was surprised i was doing same times like Eves.and then i jumped to Eve to check that out,and guess what i was doing same times with both cars Smile biggest difference is with wingless vs winged cars. it is true if i drive wingless eve vs winged spark on monza/spa like tracks Eve is gonna be faster for sure.but if we all are in the same cars(wing vs wing & wingless vs wingless car) only difference is driver&setup, thats my opinion..maybe eve is easier to drive to someone making him little faster driver then driving Spark.

what i like is that cars are different indeed(wheelbase...),but with same performance if you find sweet spot with setup.good example is Lee R,he is very quick with spark.then there is David H,Dave C,DC,DB..all tecno drivers Smile

best solution for one of future leagues is drivers who drove Matras this season, drive Tecno next league Smile

here is car stat if you lazy to check files Smile
