Well, I think Dan has a strong point against Old Spa as it has been done by ISI.
It was designed as an early 60s track with terrible tarmac, I guess because of not sufficient funds after the war, as 917 was a 70s car that run in smooth tarmac, not on a plowfield.
If you look at pictures of 917 in Spa you will see my point.
