The last time it was used in a F1 GP was 1961. It was used in the film Grand Prix which was filmed during the 1966 season, that why the characters in the film had names and helmets based on real drivers (the idea was they could use footage of the real races). Such as Pete Aren had Chris Amon's helmet, the Ferrari Drivers was quite interesting, if you study the film. Nino Barlini had Lorenzo Bandini's, But Jean Piere Sarti started the season wearing John Surtees's helmet and finished it wearing Mike Parks's, because Surtees had an argument with Enzo and left for Cooper, and he was replaced by Parks. Also if you check out the film where the cars are on the banking they are all F2 cars (James Garner was realy driving one).
