Plus, please please please do some practice laps in the days leading to the race day. Learning the track in the 30 min qualify session before the race is a bit unfair on other drivers who are on their fast laps.
Exiting the server 30 seconds before the start of the race and then rejoin and start chatting and voting, there is little we can do to help you. Fergy made it clear that voting to restart would only happen if there is a server problem. The rules about no chat have been here since day 1.
I still have the odd problem with my rFactor where I get disconnected from the server at random at the end of a season. Luckily it has not happed before race yet, I'm hoping I will not be the next unlucky person to miss a race because of problems (touch wood).
This was a tuff track. Small mistakes can easily see you in the wall.
I qualified in the middle of the grid. Had a good 1st lap managed to overtake few cars. I was following Ramon for a while then I saw he hit something on the road and I got passed him.
My 1 stop strategy was working out good until it all went wrong when I overshot my braking and ended up going down an escape road. I had to do a 3 point turn in there. Rejoined, but then hit DeeCee, oops, and I lost my wing off a wall. Had to go for repairs, ended up 2 laps down. I had a good overtake on Tim near the end of the end. It was good to finish, but it could have been better without that one mistake.
Tim, on your 2nd post you have Ramon down as DNS with no points. His total points are different to the points on your 1st post. Just thought I would say.
