Fun Event - Lauda vs Hunt - Round 1 - Silverstone 1975
#9
Here are some setup vagaries I have learned about these cars which i hope help you with your setups

Ignore tyre temp spread as the numbers are inaccurate, if you try to achieve an even spread you loose grip , go above 105Kpa and the grip goes away , there is no real noticeable increase in wear running low pressures .

Because of the problem with autoblip , A simple way to stop the back stepping out on the downchange 4 >3 is to increase no3 ratio so the back axle doesnt lock

Both the cars do not like being set low , the chassis grounds out and stops the suspension working .

You need downforce , too little wing is great for the striaghts but penalises your corner speeds and traction out of them
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
