Myles, I tried to join right before the times I posted on this thread, probably about 2:00 AM UTC.
I don't know anything about "CSP". Is the link in the first post? What do I do with it? Content Manager seems helpful at times, and overly complex and arcane at other times. I'm hoping your assistance in this thread will help others as well. Thank you.

It’s well worth installing - it can really up the graphical experience with very little impact on resources. It’s also a pre-requisite for some of the real eye-candy.

If you like what you see, you can bung the author (Iija) a quid a month on Patreon and gain access to the pre-release versions that are truly eye-opening… (random YouTube example here).



Those of us that have tried it have been blown away by the RainFX in particular - and have been astounded that they work so well even in VR (when rf2 struggles to function even in the dry)… While we’re here, there are some experimental features built into CM that tie the grip to the weather conditions- I’ve done a bit of offline testing at Brands in the wet in the Porsche 911 RSRs and it’s glorious how the wheels spin up etc. when you hit puddles….

I don’t plan to enforce paid-for versions of any technical add-ons though (other than perhaps some of the very-affordable official content packs), but for offline use I can heartily recommend them.
