Got a good start but threw it away with an over ambitious move on DJ , i saw him lock a wheel into turn 2 and thought he was going wide onto the green stuff but he gathered it up and we both fought for the same piece of tarmac . My fault i should have lifted earlier and gave space (Sry DJ) .
We both charged after the pack and were lapping quickly , fortunately we didnt have much trouble passing other cars and came up to a group of 4 having thier own battle , i think we both had the same idea to try and pass them in the pits as they would be hard to fight through , DJ pitted first and i a lap later , as the stops worked out we did the right thing and made it back up to 2nd and 3rd .
