The Radicals are proving to be both fun and quite popular - so we’ll stick with them for a while.
This weeks track is Mid Ohio (no chicane) originally by Virtua LM.
VLM haven’t updated the track in many years though - and it has fallen behind the cut-track rules.
You will need to download our updated version either direct from our server or through the Mediafire link at the top of the page. Please note that while we don’t anticipate any further changes to the NC layout, there might need to be final tweaks. The good news is that the track file is tiny so it doesn’t take long to download and install.
Please also note that only the main NC track layout has been updated so far - the same changes need to be added to the chicane and alternative layouts. This will be done offline - the only reason I mention this is that there *will* be a further version but I don’t plan to upload this before Tuesday. We might reach out to VLM to see if they’ll update their Workshop version with our refresh.
What has changed?
i) Turn 1 - apexing anywhere near the kerb separating the pit exit from the track resulted in a cut-track. Now fixed.
ii) Pit exit - joining the track before the proper blend line will now result in a cut-track. Do not be tempted to cut across early!
