I tried my first 1hr offline race this afternoon.
It was fun having the LMPs out there too - and they were pretty well behaved (unlike the GTE AIs which were often pretty rowdy/erratic).
You can definitely just about get a set of sorts to ‘last’ the hour if you are careful and lucky. I’m keen to try another race on the mediums to see if that’s a better bet.
I’m bemused by the AI pitting though. Maybe some of them two-stopped - but despite me starting on full tanks, some of the GTEs ended up pitting waaaay later than me and despite me pitting in the lead on the last possible lap of my first tank, I came out in around 6th and ended up 4th after a few late altercations…
