after 2 test/familiarization sessions I have another questions, hope someone kind will help:
1. is it a general habit to have special effects off? There was so much smoke in the short races. In one race more smoke than I have seen in my entire simracing life probably :o. I wandered through the corners completely blind like in the maze. It was not a race, it was a war.
passing some incidents seeing someone's engine on fire in the distance through that smoke clouds - I feel myself to be right on the battlefield my left hemisphere was a bit dissapointed with such dirty job but that right was filled with some strange excitement
2. my topspeed was about 307-8. But in trackmap plugin I could see the tops close or over 320. What is the miracle? I used default setup, than tweaked the gearbox but even with long sixth which engine was almost unable to overrev it was impossible to reach such high speeds.
3. what is the difference between EVE specifications (F1, F1B, F1C)? I tried F1B on default with tweaked gearbox and reduced fuel amount than F1 with the same gearbox and fuel amount and did not feel a difference in performance. In handling there was a difference for sure, F1 suffered with huge understeer. probably it can be resolved by proper setup or adapting driving style but B spec is more comfortable as is so now preferred. But I would like to acquire more informations about the topic...
