Hi Jerry. Don't worry about the game crashes. Almost everyone have the same problem, inclusive me, and ISI will hopefully release a new build in the next few days to fix it(I really hope so)
Fresh install - for me it means remove the game COMPLETELY. Uninstall and delete rf2 folders that are not deleted by uninstaller. Then install new build. Usually solves the problems
Core and Content installed to the same location - when installing rf2, you're asked to choose location first for Core, and then for Content. Usually (at least for older builds) the default location was Core > C:\program\rfactor2 and the Content folder (packages and player files etc) was in user\documents.
If you install both core and content to the same location (C:\programs\rfactor2 for example) the spotter will work Probably a bug.
