Another mod issue seen watching the jitterfest livestream replay. The timing tower ended up several laps behind the action. Watch even as the next Warmup starts after Race 1. It's still showing timings of the race in motion (hasn't even gotten to the part where I spun back to 9th position either). The CPU load is just so great on the server that its processing of the timing intervals had fallen several minutes behind. By the start of Race 2, the timing still hasn't gotten to the end of Race 1 yet!

I'm afraid my sim became more and more glitchy as more cars joined With frame rate drops that I thought it best to stop before I took someone off. I will adjust my graphics and try for the next round. Thank you all for good natured fun and Dave for your help, I have not raced for over 2 years or even more. Thank you to the admins too..
Eric..
Eric check out the tuesday night sessions , we use the same car at different tracks for multiple 6 lap fun races
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

Deecee52 thank you for letting me know, I will join in with some of those on non work evenings.
I didn't realise there maybe a graphics issue with the Porsche mod. I think most of my problem was my own fault and my PC settings. For all of that, I was very happy to join in the event after such a long break from online racing or even using the sim rig.
The real trouble was; I had gone Kayaking the day before and my arms were falling off by Sunday evening... I was pleased to have an excuse to drop out
Thank you to all involved, I will look forward to next week.
The car is super heavy on CPU load. Tuning down the graphics settings did not help me. It seems like DJ figured out the root cause of the issues with too many polygons in he breakaway parts. Now the key question to me is: Is that fixable?
I dont think that having to buy a new computer to participate in our league is helpful to attract new drivers.
best
Thanks to @DJCruicky 's skill we will go with a new version of the car. Big improvements in CPU performance.
Server will be passworded all week for the moment, we want to keep it only available to us until we get some feedback from the maker (no feedback from them yet)

I created, uploaded and linked to both .XCF (Gimp) and .PSD versions of my template in that thread. Make sure you scroll down to the later versions that are corrected for perspective after DJs suggestion.
Note - the .PSD versions were created in GIMP and i’m unable to test them natively. GIMP seems to import PSDs correctly - so I hope and assume it can export them ok too.
Thanks for the template (gimp for me) I think I will be reviving the Purple People Eater Porsche (Gulf but in purple and lilac with Purple people eaters replacing the Gulf. Won't be done in time for this week though.

I had one big issue which you can see in the video, this is the only time this happened but it could have caused a crash if it happened at a different point in the race.
I didn't manage to get a clip but this bug happened again for me. No one else has mentioned it so it is probably something to do with me, not the car.
What lap did it happen at Sebring, Stu? And which race A or B? I'll check out my replay and see if anything is laggy looking on mine. I no longer have replays for LimeRock park to look. This way you will know if problem is on your end or the servers.

I think it was near the start of race B, could've been around lap 4/6
Been messing about with gimp to make a new paint. Got most of it sorted without problems, but was having difficulty doing the area on the wings (fenders) below the headlamps. Got it sussed in the end.
