Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 3 of our Historic's League. This season we move up to the Historic F1's in what promises to be an action pack event. There's no way around it, it's a hard mod and with that comes massive challenges. One of them Finishing and being consistent will be the key to a good season. We see the return of the reverse grid race with this series and now with only two races per round it adds a lot more pressure on staying clean in those opening laps. Expect big thrills, big spills and lots of emotion to come out of this series.
SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

If it's the new build i'll race, if not i'm gonna give it a miss. Also what about the pit bug? If there's to be a change of track it needs to be soon, still considering it?

Cheers.
Marcel, Paul and I have gone 3 ways and bought 3DSimed3. Thanks for that.
I put it to good use already by fixing up the track.
Losing a lap in pits was because the finish sector line was only drawing across the track, instead of the track AND the pitlane. I extended the line across the pits too and now working.
I also spotted the pit exit line was a long way after the pitlight, so I moved that back abit too. Explains why I was getting speeding tickets.
Managed to add 1 extra pit stop spot as well.
No balloons and boobies this time sorry. Maybe next time :p.
Nice pic again GM.

Donated some to partially cover the 3d simed cost.
Would be cool to know if even tracks like Silverstone can be imported.
Can you then modify the track and resave just fine?

Importing Silverstone, I do not see why not.
I have found the software a bit limited. Not really sure if you can model objects with it. At most I found you can just move objects about, or import them, even that is a bit clunk clunk. See screen shot above, to move something you would think you just have to click on something and drag it where you want, but instead has you entering coord X,Y,Z on the panel on the right. 5 metres right, 0.6 metres forward, etc.
I guess you need a 3D modeling program to get the best out of it.
3Dsimed3 can import tracks from other games which I will have to try soon .

stuff...
thanks D J for all your hard work
and, here comes the 382 mod?'s - got it all installed and tested tonight. everything worked but I can't seem to find the skins, or as they call it "variants" I usually went to car select and picked the matra variant - that was the blue #5, I can only pick the MS10_15 car - I think nikos uses this. where would I find this in the rfactor folder.
also, are you guys going slower in this mod? I dropped back by like 2 seconds, is that what you are finding?
I hope they come out with a new mod that works soon :-\

Cheers.
The easiest thing I did was just copy the 'UserData' folder to build 382. That should give you all your skins, control settings, setups, everything (copy it not move it).
