Wasn't expecting much have not been behind the wheel for over 4 months. So just wanted to take my time with things.

Qualify

Got a mid 1:40's I wasn't expecting anything more starting from the back of the grid.

Race 1

Slow start off the line, let everyone get going. Then it was head down and concentrate. I'd forgotten how hard these dam things are to drive. Pitted early to beat the rush at mid way. Then came across cosimo broadside across the track couldn't avoid him luckily i managed to slow right down so no damage for earthier of i think. After that pretty steady pace till the end.

Race 2

Slow start again to let everyone go, same tactic as last time planned for an early stop to beat the rush. Came across the carnage at turn 2 on lap one, managed to steal a few places Pitted on lap 6 and had a good clean pit. Carried on at a steady pace and managed to gain a few places while others pitted for damage or routine. Then disaster struck on the last lap i got a CTD and unable to rejoin server just constantly server connection error.

All in all I enjoyed my return and I am looking forward to the next event, I have missed racing with you all. See you on track soon.

First of all, nice racing with you guys, really enjoyed it

Race 1
Managed to keep out of trouble at the early stage of the race. Rest of the race I had a clean track in front of me and managed to avoid major mistakes, although I wouldn't say that even one lap felt "right". Hit the brakes to late at pit-entry which resulted in a drive-through (a rather "forgiving" one at this track). Hit the wall on cold tires, but it didn't cause much damage, so I could finish the race in fourth place, yeah

Race 2
Got a light pump at the turn 2 carnage which neither caused damage nor cost a lot of time. After some time I ended up behind Nikos and there was a nice fight going on with him and 2-3 drivers close behind me. Unfortunately, after some laps of clean fighting, coming out of the chicane I hit the pedal to early and touched Nikos at his right rear tire. Don't know if I damaged his car or send him spinning, in any case sorry Nikos. After recovering from this incident I found myself surrounded by drivers and got a bit panicked which finally ended in spinning at the "hairpin" causing a bit of trouble for the following drivers but they managed to avoid me. After that I couldn't really find back into the race and retired after a few (more) mistakes.

Looking forward to driving again with you guys and will try to show up on a regular basis now.
Only "downside" of today, I missed a (seemingly) great el-classico.

Nice to race with you guys again

QUALI
Started lapping with 12 minutes remaining of the qualify, and I saw that Marcel was already in the mid 1:31s, 3 tenths faster than my pb, so I didn't expect to beat him this time. But my very first lap proved to be very good! 20 thousandths faster than Marcel. I coudln't improve that time. Marcel didn't improve his time neither, so once again pole for me... quite unexpected this time

RACE 1
Not very eventful for me. I was a bit nervous the first laps because I was unsure about my race pace because I haven't really practiced this past week. But it was fine and I opened up a small gap already after the first corners that increased a little all the time. No mistakes from me in this race, and finished 1st.

RACE 2
Started from 10th on the grid and took only 1 postion before T1. However, after T2 I was suddenly 3rd! I was lucky to completely avoid the mayhem when at least two cars crashed very hard and the rest was held up. Oh man, I was lucky Only Nikos and Jerry in front of me and within 2 laps I was in the lead. I could relax and bring the car to finish line without problems.

I enjoyed racing with you guys again, but we were missing a few drivers including my brother. I hope we have "full" grid in our final event, and I hope I'll have a more exciting race

Did my best to end Rik's string of poles and for a moment I thought I had it in the pocket but nooo, Hedlund did it again. 8)

His race pace was a bit better than mine, Dj was also quick first laps. Pitstop was a litle hairy with someone slow in front but no probs, 2nd place finish.

2nd race I had a great start. Moved up from 9th to 3rd before 1st corner. I was right behind the two leaders, a tad quicker but very cautious not to hit them as they were going side by side in turn 2. I held the inside line but suddenly I felt a big hit from behind. Next time if you know you wont make the corner, don't use someone as a brake pls. We changed to reversed top 10 only, exactly because of these kind of incidents....

I managed to get up to third after an early pitstop. 10 secs behind Dj and tried to gain on him with about 8 laps to go but I cooked it somewhere and a lot of damage, barely got the car to pit. Finished somewhere I don't want to know...

Wd Rik and Dj, guess I'll be aiming for 3rd in championship then :

So here's my report, tho the result for me where actually good i have to start by saying a big sorry to Steve and Marcel

Qualy:

Did my pv and that got me on 10th spot.

Race 1:

Had a good start but i don't realy know if it was 1st or 2nd lap, at the chicane i tried to outbrake Steve but watching the replay i saw that it was a realy stupid action from me. I hit Steve and although i don't know if he had damage after that it shouldn't have happened. After that i was behind Mel who looked like he had team orders and he was trying to hold me back giving John a lead. But Mel made a mistake at some point and there i was right behind Nikos who had a really good pace. I had a nice battle with him for several laps and at some point Giorgio was also there right at my tail. In T1 Giorgio braked hard and got himself a little out of control hitting me and send me off in the green with some RR damage. (No Problem Giorgio as said before race accident things like this happen) so i pitted next lap and went on after a stop of 47 seconds. Rest of the race went well and finished without any problem after that.

Race 2:

4th on the grid behind Vittorio and had a good start. But between t1 and t2 i had Vitto and DJ to the left of me, i thought to brake a little bit later than normal for t2 but there was a red car which i hit hard at the LR tire. At that moment i thought it was Nikos but it turned out to be Marcel who obviously had a start from out of this world. Even at that point when i thought it was Nikos i was so ashamed of myself making a beginner fault like that. But after looking at the replay i know it was Marcel this knowledge doesn't make the fault more good or bad but my God, did i really take someone out who is running for championship.......SORRY SORRY MARCEL and all who where involved in that accident at t2


Made a stop lap 2 and finished 8th.

how can anyone overshoot pitstop twice???

well I did, at 2nd race, and I found myself short on petrol.
I tried to get to my pit 3rd time, and I did but engine went off just at the moment crew took me up.
Then I remembered I didnt have Starter button assigned anymore, as I used auto clutch.
Then, I frantically pushed every button on keyboard searching for start thing.

Nope, my luck is bad nowdays.

first off, I am sooooooo happy I was not called away during the race.. family stuff that I thought I would have to attend too, lucky for me - it never materialized.
first race I think I qualified 11th? was able to move up to 8th, when I came into contact with Giorgio in the chicane. no place for me to go, hopefully there was no damage. lap 5 I made an unforced error :-[ I hate when that happens. after that I had damage but managed to make it to my pit stop - lengthy pit stop for repairs of said damage. came out in 13th place and worked back up to 10th.. that means I got to start at the front.. ;D
start of second race on the grid, I was sitting there thinking how great I was - NO - I was hoping I didn't screw this up got a clean start and was leading the race - until rikard passed me (the paint on your car was the lotus skin - black - all except for that blue nitrous bottle on the back of the car near the injection ???) anywho - did pretty well until the end of the race - on lap 16 while running 4th - john was able to pass me and we were going down the front straight. he hit his brakes and locked up and went off going into turn one. I did the same - must have been an oil slick - no contact - weird. so I finished in 6th. pretty good - had fun - thanks paul for hosting..
